Very true. If you have high enough rez on your screen and look closely enough you can see the salt chunks on it.

Heh Thanks guys. Had a good time today and so on. This marks my (more or less) first full year here on GTM. I joined a little bit before I turned 16 and now I'm 17 lol. Thanks to the users that helped me out and through the tough times both here and in real life. Had some pretty good debates (of picking answers apart) and those that put up with me and my computer issues when I entered tournaments. The last year for me has a been a up and down one. I hope this one has more ups then downs but we shall see. I also want to thank Preytor_4 for putting up with me on some rants I went on with him. And the one who more or less got me set here Joe who helped me out when I first joined and knew no form behaver. Ya thats right this was the first ever forms I'v ever been on.

And thanks for the map and cake (At least it looks like a cake or I'm thinking cakes lol) *nom nom*

Why does everyone now have ACAMS old avatar in one form or another?

I have no idea. I check the cartoon thread (What ever its called) but found nothing hinting at it there.

Does every thing half to be done to look impressive? What if he wanted to do a different idea that no one did before and only did half of it to give the genral idea? Rather then finishing it and realizing its a clone of something and having to redo it all together?

Badnick do you have any spare keyboards? If you do plug one of them in and see if you get any results. If not do you still have F5? (I think its that I may be a bit rusty) If so press it right after you get the first screen and you should get some options. Boot into safe mode and see if you have any keyboard functions there. If so you need to locate the keyboard drivers and update or reinstall.

I really think there needs to be a crack down. With all this trolling   and attention seeking there needs to be a huge crack down. I'm   personally getting tired of seeing crap in almost every thread I go to.   Really when some one (or than one) start picking on another user. Yes   this or that don't help the community (eg other forms that others made   other games) but that happens. Its the way I see others posting in them   and treating the thread makers like crap! The amount of trolling and   bashing is out of control. So yes I want there to be rules and then   followed.

There's too many sensible people here for anyone to get away with insulting another user/users for no reason.
The reason why these people end up being on the receiving end of this is because they've trolled/attention seeked or otherwise showed stupidity. It's these people (if any) that are the ones who should be on the receiving end of any punishment.

I did not say which ones nor was pointing at any one directly. And as for the "Noob whackers" if they don't follow rules and keep breaking them then ban.

To sum up, the leniency we have is a good thing for reasons I already explained. If you want us to become more strict, we can do that as well. I really think there needs to be a crack down. With all this trolling   and attention seeking there needs to be a huge crack down. I'm   personally getting tired of seeing crap in almost every thread I go to.   Really when some one (or than one) start picking on another user.  Either you people start fixing the problem or we will. I really highly doubt some would fix there act on there own here. The mods Joe, Click, Kill (The ones off the top of my head and trust) need to crack down hard for some to learn. I know there busy enough already but either the mods crack down or I really doubt people here will clear up the act.

There needs to be rules set up for Chatter box and every single section. If those rules are not followed then temp ban and so on.

Sorry but I agree with Kill here 100% this place really does need to clear it up.

What I'm wondering is why others can make these threads about games RP's and so on and from what I can see Preytor_4's are the only ones were no one take's seriously and spam and flame. Seriously what does every one have against against Preytor_4.

Its happened several time to me though. Not all the time thankfully but still. It says I'm still logged in then I go to post and it then gives me the window that only members can do that and its showing as logged out suddenly there.

General Support / Re: trouble about the minimagnet
« on: January 04, 2011, 02:25:02 PM »
hecko... er... i have a small but silly cuestion... what i must to do to the minimagnet works? i have spend 2 days trying to make something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54WOAS3jCYg&feature=related# in this video, the robot seems like were using "the force" as a jedi knight... i want to do the same D: please help... i have installed the patches 1.2, 1.3 y darckpack 2.0 and another items (like a laser saber) and unlocked the AI items...
that is... someone can help me? (sorry about my bad english... i'm just learning)

Cya

How the mini magnet works is first of all you need to attach then to each other the same way only one will squat. If you put then the wrong way it won't. After or as you do that you wire then. I think the option your looking for is "Repel" once you have enough of then like that make sure you have enough battery power to power then and you should be good to go.

Hope this helps.

For building bots...... I kind of lost interest right now. Every time I do make a successful bot and want to show it there's always 10-50 things "wrong" with it. All this "realistic" and "right way" stuff takes the fun out of it for me. Anyway back on topic

My new years resolution is to try and improve my anger management issues even more..... that's about it so far.

One, the cat saw it. Two the spot was not on the ground it was in the air.
Cats stare. That's what they do. Also, like humans, cats can only see visible light. They cannot see ultraviolet light, but rather have a membrane that reflects light back into the retina. If your room was well lit, your cat was actually at a disadvantage because this membrane causes cats to see worse than humans in light. Besides, a cat's vision maxes out at 2-3 feet in front of its face.

So basically, if your cat could see something, you should have been able to see it as well. You didn't, so why are you so certain that your cat did? As I said before I for one like to know how those around me behave including the family cat. And I'm very sure cats can see further than that. Other wise he is extremely good at tracking lazer light paths for starters.

Three I just mentioned the spot to my mom and sis who in turn tested the spot. Then my mom said it was a demon. As for the praying part you'd have to be a Christan to really understand by what I met by praying. The worlds way of thinking will not understand it.
Ah, so that's what this is about. You obviously come from a deeply religious family. Your mother's explanation for any odd phenomenon is "demons". She has clearly raised you to not question her judgment. But consider for a moment that it's not a demon and that there was just a cold spot in your house. We know that cold spots develop. On the other hand, we have no evidence that it was a demon in your house. What if it was the Holy Ghost keeping an eye on you? There's just as little evidence to support that as there is a demon.

The praying likely got rid of the problem the same way that placebos can cure diseases: you essentially tricked yourself into improvement. You desperately wanted to get rid of the unknown. Your mother provided an answer to the unknown. To you, she is a highly reputable source,Funny that you would say that. We can disagree so bad that I have punched her before while she was slapping me. so you accepted her answer. You were scared. She then provided the solution: praying. You prayed. No longer could the cold be felt anymore. Why? Before the praying, you were (maybe even subconsciously) looking for anything out of the ordinary. After the praying, you were looking for normalsy. It's really that simple.

As I've said before, this solution is testable. Yours relies on many assumptions and in no way can be tested. So, why believe it was a demon? Ain't all problems testable? Yes it is on assumptions thats how humans work. For all you know you could be talking to a computer thats giving these answers. How do you know your not? Other factors. Do all agree with some of these factors? No. The way I'v been brought up may seem......... religious but it also explains so other things for me as well. Science can't explain every thing. For one Its very depressing to think your nothing (note the "Nothing") more then a random chemical mix that is now some how living. But now I'm going off on a different topic all together there. The place is small and not much air flow. Yes these no evidence that I can say or you'll accept to prove it was a demon not a random air pocket.
