I believe he's asking if you have Mad's smartzones or not. If you don't have them, then the bot will crash your game if you try and use it. I suggest downloading Mad's smartzone pack, since more people use them than the stock ones.

what is the difference between stock and mads ones?
 
EDIT: It is probable that i wont get them as this may confuse my game beacuse its already playing up.
 
again may i ask if anyone has any suggestion for a free 'out of the hat' program i could use?

Also my pc has just been restored so i have to install RA2 again, i am however slightly annoyed as now my ra2 wont export bots yet again!

Hi guys and welcome to the thread for the official RODE Tribute Tournament.
As you've probably read in the Robot Rampage thread Dragonfire has left us:( so i have decided to host a tournament in his honour and for all he has done for us here at gametechmods.com


Layout:

This tournament will be stock Middleweights (as that is DF's favourite weight class in stock), it will be a straight forward battle with 2 rumbles to start with all the entries fighting. The winners of the rumbles will then fight each other in the final brawl and the winner of the final round will recive a special award from DragonFire himself.


Rules:

Stock M/W's as i said

1. Stacking is allowed

2. No cheatbot2 but you can have AI parts

3. No skinning (my RA2 doesent agree with them)

4. Glitching is allowed (if a havoc explosion decides how the match ends there will be 1 re-match)

5. You will have to AI your own bot.

The tournament will take place in the DSL BLadeArena


As you can guess from the bracket i need 16 combatants:
1 - R0B0SH4RK
2 - Somebody
3 - 40757
4 - Pwnator
5 - Scrap Daddy
6 - Roboman2444
7 - JoeBlo
8 - Jack Daniels

(Your name will apear once your entry is AIed)

(Send the bot file with the bots name e.g. example.bot and the bindings, and don't forget to include your forum name, thank you.)

Good idea but i still need to know how to get the entries into my game and to get them to battle.

me and him have talked on MSN (we're good friends @ school) and we've decided to call it RODE (Rise Of the Dragons lEdgend) and i can inform you that he has decided to make some kind of prize for the winner.

If this tournament is going to go ahead i need someone to AI entries and someone to teach me how to get the entries to fight each other in an arena beacuse i'm only a newbie but since i know DragonFire very well i will host the tournament, i just need to learn that one thing.

@RedLineM203:yes he has definatley left.

@Somebody: He had too much to do and unfortunatley, RA2 got in the way of exams and stuff so he had to leave.

Unfortunate news guys, DF has decided to leave (i think, at least, thats the impression he's been giving me) so i have decided to take up the idea S32 put forward and host a mini tournament in tribute to DF and all he has bought to the forums. all i need to do is get someone to AI the entries and i need to think up a name. i'll be back with a new thread sometime soon hopefully >.>

None, Season 2 is filled up.

Unless Metallic Viper would like to host some mini fights, like a Rumble for bots that didn't make toe tourney, or a small tag team battleathon.

i would but unfortunatley AIing is a mystery to me so i couldn't host and i dont know which bots didn't make it unless DF sends them which he is too busy to do.
