Merci. Translation for those who are not familiar with french: Wellcome to the club Phietbabe (I aim to the french speaking part of the community). It seems, about building bots you have still to learn. However, I have to mention, you show a lot of interesting new ideas. My favorit is Hachoir. What seems to me very important, are your remarkable capacities in programming. There you can contribute a lot. Thank you.

Soup: I made actually allution to my forum avatar Cooker (an automatic cooker from the first adventure of Wallace & Gromit: "A great day out", for those who didn't know). The extender is not only a srimech, but it is there, to stop my bot from drifting away sidewards, as soon it hits another bot.
Venkoism: This arm is a very cool and never seen before, absolutely new invention of my genious myself and you are only jalous because it was not you who found it. Edit: You may not copy it, unless you ask my permission first!

I used to build many HS before. But for instance I am testing other desingns, because it isn't anymore a big challenge nowadays, to win a tourney with a x-fold stacked HS. I'm sure, I will soon find (attention venkoism) a new extraordinary super intelligent design or maybe a new super mega glitch, that I will certainly not post here, so you will not be able to copy it. But.. err... how will I become a RA2 celebrity and how can you all hail me when I don't post it... damn! ...Hello Huston, we have got a problem...

Thanks. I will check it out, if I can get that to work well, this could be a possible candidate for BBEANS. I made allready some type of undercutter, but it's kind of tricky to use it, because it tend to turn away as soon it is under the other bot. To offend this I gave him a helping hand. Btw, its on a snapper, to be used as a srimech as well. However this design might be funny, but not satisfactory. Meanwhile I have another soup on the fire, that might be ready to be tasted soon.

Oh yes, I know, earlier morons like this were locked in, but since all the funny-funs are overcrowded, you can see people like him run around free everywhere.

Huh. Your weapons are too fragile. And look at that long steel extender... he is easily breakable.
I'll use a shorter extender, allowing for some more protection, make all the design more compact and make him an undercutter (putting a tortoise sheel plate instead of that typhoon spike)
However, i LOVE the visual. Ok I din't test it very longtime, but the extender didn't get broken yet. What the is a tortoise sheel plate and where can I find it? I was looking for something shorter, but couldn't find anything. Btw, the typhoon spike does a little damage too, how about the tortoise sheel plate? To Sage: No I will not do that.

Is it possible, somebody didn't read the manual first? It is all well explained in the tutorial, that comes with the game. Please red it!

Since i decided to sign in for the next BBEANS, I try to make a decent MW. I don't know how it comes, but they allways come out as HWs. I don't think this will be the one, I will use vor the contest, but at least it does meet the realistic rule. Even it drives well inverted, it's not really invertible, because his disc is to far off the ground in upside down position. It needs a wall or any obstacle to selfright. I don't know if Biohazard is a reference. However, OCM was not able to destroy it, but the difference in damage is promising. I was not sure about the protection, but it seems to be extraordinary resistant. And as usual, some venkoism: The inside picture is not provided, since there is nothing special to show there. Exept the never seen before, very secret stacked battle packs. Please look at the absolutely genious design of the chassis, like the letter M for Mixer.

Not willing to pretend to know more about DSL, than Scrap Daddy, i say:... It is crappy... no ,no...ehm..., I mean... it's.... different... a bit crazy, tough...ahem... and new...great...:blackeye_smily: yes, yes,... it is great...singn it in! :-D Yes, you should send this bot to BBEANS. At least if you are really hot, to lead the looser bracket and if you want to give me big hopes, to win at least against one of the bots in this tourney. Mwuahaha!

You should add a polycarbonate skirt to the front of Stormwind. It will go under others easy, and you have still some weight left for this. I would suggest to make another version of this one, with a 4 motors drive. More speed and more power, for going under. Just get rid of some batteries for this. Battle packs stack 4 in 1 quite easy. You need about 16 to 20 for two betas and 4 NPCs. All depends on how deadly your bot is. If it is very deadly, it can work well, even it has not the amount batteries needed. For doing just a bit of damage, a static weapon on a hinge like Critical Emergency has, would come in handy too, without to eat up to much weight.
I have never seen the idea with the counter weight on the hammer. Well done! Maybe you want to try to get rid of the weight blocks and add some kind of a counterbalance arm at the back of the bot. Maybe even power it by a small snapper, in order to tip the bot slightly forward down, when the hammer fires.

Yep! But, for keeping secret "my most recent and highly genious" designs, I can offer only this view of the bot. "Big brother Venko" is watching me, you know. Excuse me, I couldn't resist to this joke. Here are the insides. There is in fact nothing special, except the wheels on the NPCs are the smallest type possible. This results in nearly zero ground clearance and makes it harder for other bots to under it. The battle packs are stacked 2x3 and 2x2. Mag snappers 1 and 4 are in end position, to have a better view. The NPCs are sligthly overlapped in the middle of the bot, making the chassis a bit narrower.

Thanks CB. The arena is perfect! I would like this would apply to my bots. I still struggle building a decent DSL MW. It allways comes out either mega lame, or much to heavy.

I wanted to build a bot, able to win against Critical Emergency. It took some time to figure out, how to go under it. The rest was easier. Mainly I tryed to do more damage than CE does. Here is Taged Toolbox. It's a HW pop up and in fact smaller than CE. 4 NPC fast with micro wheels, 4 mag snappers, 12 iron spikes, 10 battle packs. And this is the match result.

I have first to pass a duster over my DSL version. I didn't use it for months.

IMAO Sage gave away the possibility to win this round, because with a little bit moving the pinks forward and forming the back of the chassis just around the airtank, he would be able to put more weapons. II's bot is more compact, so he was able to use one component more, than Sage and still having the same number of weapons plus a bigger battery. So I vote for Infinite's bot.

Weirdly enough, I once powered a 4 hp ztek spinner with two pinks. It had Rad drive. I still don't know how the that worked. Magic?
