Hmm... Good ideas! But I think that there should be some REALLY powerful servomotors that could actually lift a heavyweight robot! But maybe it will spin too fast, so it would be hard to control...

They've already done that, the Crusher servo and drive motors.

Well... sort of. The crusher servos can lift super heavy things that are part of your bot (huge hammers, etc), but they aren't any stronger than normal servos at lifting other things (can't even lift a crate in the test garage). It can't be done, it's the way the game works.

Uhhhhh, there already is a robot showcase.  :?
It's been dead for about 2 months though.

EDIT: I didn't notice the part in your post about it being organized into weight class and stuff. I think they were going to make something like that a while back, but it didn't happen.

That looks really good for a replica with no custom made parts. Its also the only Snake replica ever made.

No, we would have to edit the physics and programming of the game. It would be extremely hard to do, and besides, Infogrames doesn't want us editing Robot Arena 2.exe (there might be a few tweaks an changes that we could do if we ever wanted to, but changing the physics and programming of the game is not allowed).

Nope. It was actually the only bot that was even close to 800 kg. All the rest of the HW bots ranged from 400-550 kg. In the new AI they are all close to 800 kg.

Whats happening with Emergency, Eye poker and Bear because they worried me alot when i started playing RA2

Quote from: Dragon Ninja
Eye Poker might be lower to the ground and have about a couple of spikes on pistons, Bear will probubly have spinning bear claws on exenders and have a better chassis design, and Emergency will probubly have 1 powerful flipper.

Right, wrong, wrong.

Stuff is getting done in DSL 2.0. I think things will go a lot faster during the summer when people have more time.

Ours are good because I fixed them on our computer a long time ago. The 20 cm polycarbonate, aluminum, and titanium extenders were all 11 kgs. Everything else was good.

One suggestion is- you don't need that many batteries. Two orange batteries is probably enough. Then you could add more spikes on the tail. Also see if you can give it fast NPC motors. They're a lot faster than mag motors.

Wow. That's totally awesome! *applause that lasts for 19.2 years*  =D>
You must work real fast.
I don't think I ever said anything about the bike. That's really cool too.

A TWO DRUMMED DRUM BOT! 2 fast NPC motors and 2 mags for drive, perm 80s for drums, and 2 orange batteries, aluminum armor.

Red Tide History... since this is the first one seen and it is number 4.

I made the first Red Tide with stock RA2. It's old and way outdated now, It was bad even back then. It had a wall of razor tips on an inverted wedge designed to sweep over bots (which it couldn't do) and a drill with a single battleaxe in the back. I made Red Tide II a while before I joined the forums. I thought it was good, It had a drum of spiked clubs mounted in a wedge and a flipper in the front. It was designed to sweep under bots, which it did very well. Once I joined the forums and learned avanced building techniques, I decided not to post it, since it was outdated. Then came DSL and I made Red Tide III with beta version 1.0.  It has a drum on top of a wedge of skirts and it's pretty powerful. I didn't bother posting it because it isn't really anything too original and I wasn't very experienced with DSL parts so it was kind of almost a test bot, just to tinker with DSL weapon systems. I made a middleweight bot, it was called Red Tide IV. It had 4 saw blades mounted in a wedge. Later on me and Clickbeelte decided that it wasn't really like the others at being a sweeping under/over bot so it was renamed and was no longer a Red Tide. Recently, now that I'm familiar with DSL parts I've made Red Tide IV. It is very effective, powerful, quick, agile, and dangerous. It fits very well with the sweeping under theme. It is also original with the double drums.

That bot is freaking Custom!!! He told me himself. custom Razor tips and burst motors.

Yes, definitely. It only has 3 razor tips. Most likely his other bot is custom too. Nightbringer is just the AU BB AI Nightmare, not stock. That means there are still no valid entries for most damage...

By the way, why does it have to be DSL v1.1? Or is that just a typo?

Death... something you don't hear about in the forums much.
It's a shame that she died so young...
Rest in peace, Lu-Tze.

Seriously, that screenshot just looks like you've done 1462 damage. (919+543)
The 9 and 5 are right on each other, they look like separate attacks.
I've seen some funky resizing before, but that doesn't look like it was created in resizing.

Funky resizing can look good if done right!

But no, Clickbeetle's wasn't done with funky resizing. And umm... 'bout the thing you said it was... uh... oh no! I'm tired! Gotta go to sleep!  :smt015

:)  Looks a lot like my superheavyweight. Except mine has Gyratory chassis 2.0, solid discs, and different balance spikes.
There's $10000 on Matilda's head! Decapitate!
