You can use two bots of the same type or a team which compliments each other.

Like Vowel and Consonant ?

But i agree - a Stock HW multibot popup is quite deadly unless against a HS, and if we get a realistic Stock HW tournament i'll gonna enter this.

Well you are in luck Nary! The Winds of Change 2 will be a realistic Stock tourney, and unless the ruleset of the TWOC1 fails epicly, then it will have the same type of rules.

As far as my testing goes, those skirt hinges only make a marginal difference. How do you angle them, maybe its different then mine?

If multibots are any better in stock, I wouldn't know.  But the only multibot in DSL I remember was the UHW flipper, Epic Flying is Epic 2, which was, is, and forever will be wicked totally epicly awesome.
