Lol.

I felt they also cheated their way to the MW final with the Typhoon Twins after one of them got knocked into the pit by 259. The rules used to be that if one half went, the other half was deemed eliminated. Then it was changed for Extreme Series 2. But then it was changed back for Series 7.

Ebay it is, then. Early Spyro was fantastic fun.

I'm just trying to see what other achievements I can get at the moment. I've only got 9 games, and 6685G so far. Not bad, I reckon.

Forget F1 2010, wait for Forza 4. It may not be F1, but you will enjoy it more. Trust me.
I've seen that for preorder, I've got Forza 3 myself. It's not too bad, I don't think, and I like how you can do up the cars any way you like. It does take a while, though, so my designs tend to be a little bit simplistic.

Cool. Got a preowned 20GB Hard drive for around £15 last week, so that wasn't too bad. And F1 2011 is out, but that's at the £40 mark. So it's a toss-up between that and a half-decent drawing tablet.

Also, are there ANY shops that sell PsOne games anymore? I really want to buy the first two Spyro games.

I've been vascillating on this for a couple of weeks now. Is an Xbox 360 copy of F1 2010 for £20 a good deal?

I live in the house that Shish-Kabot was built in.

NOWAI
Didn't SKBT build Shish-Kabot?
(didn't understand the joke)

You could use lighter extenders to hold the plows on to save the 16kg. Your opponent's aren't going to get the them anyway, provided you keep the front pointed at them.

Very nice way of adding extra weaponry there. I might have to look into that.

Sledgehammers for stabilisers, though, are they just for the HP advantage? Because I might have used Steel Sheets, personally.

Damn, that sounds seriously nasty. I hope this is just a one-time thing, and I wish you a speedy recovery.

so, in chemistry i have to do a report on a theoretical nuclear winter, and what would soon follow after, the effects of it, etc, etc.
what this has to do with chemistry, i have no clue.
Listen to Metallica's "Blackened". It's written about a nuclear winter following a war between the US and the Soviets.

It's looking pretty good so far, you've got quite a few of the basics understood very well. If you lost the third spinner, and moved the drive motors alongside the battery, I reckon you could probably get this down to a MW if you used RADs for the spinner motors. inf is convinced that Snapper2 wedges are superior to DDT's, so you've appeased him. =) And you could also raise the Baseplate Anchor off the ground to reduce the weight spent on extenders.

Also, I have a huge urge to but a DSL bar with 70kg hammers on. Me being a noob?
Not at all. 70kg hammers on a Dual Perm make an excellent throwing weapon for kicking opponents up into the air. You just need to watch if one of them comes loose, it can cause instability.

I still don't really agree with Urjak, personally, but I'm glad to see this has reached an agreement. Let's hope the tournament runs a bit more smoothly now.

How about I make a compromise bot, Reduce my weapons and get rid of DSA (which has already been done), and then enter it.
This could easily work, I feel. If it acted more like a conventional axebot, perhaps like Dominator 2 or The Judge, then I think it would be better received with regards to the rule on realism.

Robot doesn't look too bad, though I can't help thinking the internals would have been better than the random anime girl.

No, you don't seem to be listening at all here...

THE RULES ON THE FIRST PAGE HAVE NOT CHANGED.

Jonzu has only CLARIFIED the rules on the first page. It happens numerous times in other Signups threads, there is no reason why this instance should fail to run smoothly like any of the others.  The rules have always been the same, and while you may have interpreted them differently from everyone else, the final decision falls to Jonzu, the host of the tournament, to determine which bots are deemed realistic and which bots are deemed unrealistic. Please accept this, I don't want to have to post the same thing fives times in a row.

Okay, firstly, you could have shot him a PM instead, it would have been less likely to be buried under everything. And second of all - in my view, at least - there's no help necessary, the matter has already been concluded. As I've said in my previous post, none of the rules are being altered, Jonzu is simply clarifying them for the benefit of everybody, which isn't against the Signups rules, as far as I can work out. I think we'd all be much more appreciative if you simpe accepted the decision of the tournament host and changed your bot so it does comply with the rules. It'd be a shame to see anyone miss a tournament in this kind of style.

Okay, imagine of signups only had the first post and Joey approving them. There would be no clarification, there would only be the rules that you could see and base your bot off of. Thats what I did, my bot adheres to the apporved rules, so my bot should be allowed in.
I can understand where you're coming from, and the first post does just say "Realistic". However with it being in Stock, and with the further clarification that Jonzu has provided over the issue - which he is perfectly entitled to do, he is not CHANGING any of the approved rules, as I have said before - your robot has been deemed illegal. That's the long and short of it, I feel, and while Jonzu is partly at fault for not clarifying in the first place, I think we should all just put the issue to bed now. Preytor, your robot has been deemed illegal, and I don't think Jonzu will be entering it into the tournament. I think your best bet would be to build another one, in all honesty.
