Isn't that bot going to be going quite slowly now? Because you have gearings from smaller -> bigger and that bigger is connected again to smaller and from there to bigger.
That means you really need extremely fast motor to make your bot move on rather good speed but at least it has a lot torque now. Though I doubt wheels won't have enough grip for that torque.
Edit: But if you are going to use tracks instead of those wheels there I think the grip will be increased greatly.
PS. Very nice pictures. Those look so nice. :D Looks like it will be fast to me...drive needs to be at least 40:1 because electric motors work more efficiently at higher speeds.

I've heard of this, I only had Vista for a few hours but it seems it wants to remember stuff you want it to forget (typical windoze behaviour) Untill they fix this problem (and I would call EVERY DAY untill they do if it happens to me) you will have to rename the folder to correct the problem.

Nice bump. After all of my research, I've found that there are no other RA2 compatible 3d modelers. use notepad
3D studio max 4.2-5.1 are the ONLY versions that work with RA2
Times goose repeated that statement: 267 3D studio max 4.2-5.1 are the ONLY versions that work with RA2
Times goose repeated that statement: 268 Live and learn.

Has anyone here heard of GMax? It's almost exactly like 3DSMax. I just need to find a .gmf plugin... If anyone has a lead, let me know. I would let goose answer this so he can say it for the 1263rd time, but I need to catch up with him so I will tell you that ONLY 3DSMax 4.2 and 5.1 will work.........and notepad (good luck with that as it takes trial and error, lots of error)

I'll try to find it. But if you could save me the trouble, that would be appreciated. LOL.... Click - Start Click My Computer Double Click - Program Files Double Click - Infogrames Double Click - Robot Arena 2 Double Click - Custom Textures WOW-------I took a bot to the paint booth to export the skin to make sure it was .bmp and it would not export.....not even my v1.0 game. Anybody else have this problem?

After you click export you can find it in Custom Textures in your RA2 folder. It is 256 x 256, but you can make it 512 x 512 for a sharper detailed skin.

Try to PM Clickbeetle. He might know something which we don't. I have a good idea what is wrong. #1- There is no crack for the demo.....and it is already 1.2, so it will not need update. #2- If there was a crack and it made the demo work then he installed DSL directly to the Robot Arena 2 folder INSTEAD of to an empty folder and moved by hand and told to overwrite all.

You MUST have a clean install of v1.2 You MUST install DSL-TC to an empty folder (desktop is best) You MUST drag and drop, or copy/paste the files to the Robot Arena 2 folder and overwrite all. Here is a tutorial I made to help with DSL and other packs. https://gametechmods.com/Install_Tut.php
