I'm glad I didn't enter the SHW division with that thing around. Looks really devilish, it should do well, provided it can keep its stabilisers and such.

Damn my lack of spare time.

Fatal Exception. 1199.8kg, 9 ants, 6WD NPC Fasts w/ Technos, 10mm Titanium. 36 Large Beater Bars up front for massive damage. Fast, durable and damaging. The only thing that's let it down so far is my less than spectacular driving.

It's not actually that difficult to make an HS in DSL with 36 10kg weapons, now we have 100cm+ Discs and Side Panels.

But mines has 32 Razors. c: And is properly unrealistic.

If he does get the other Start points sorted out, could I get transferred back into the HW bracket?

I'm gonna go ahead and pick
to win the Middleweight division.
OH SNAP

*Listens to Mother Protect by Alex Metric to celebrate*

Ya see, GF, you might have a good bot (Sarcasm), but you don't have the tourney leeader on our side. I've officially got bragging rights for the rest of the day.

And the day ends in 1 hour 10.
Swarm will kick your Control Board into the Quotes Taken Out Of Context thread. :gawe:

But it shows that the person must want to fit in.

"Oh, if everyone is making TF2 references, then I should, too! Who cares if I never played it?"
Not really, it just shows that that's the range of their humour. It's like making "your mum" jokes if you're a virgin.

It's different from many of the FPS games now.
Not graphically, from what I can see.

But I would enjoy shooters far more if they took a less serious route. Imagine a shooter as colorful as super mario galaxy and with some super unrealistic weapons, and that's what I would enjoy; conserving realism is kinda pointless when it's a game.

Ding ding. I find that the games based on realistic warfare, such as Call Of Duty, they don't understand the suspension of disbelief that's part of a video game. I enjoy Forza 3, a realistic driving sim, because of the element of customization available to the player.

It's repetitive, and all games are better than it.
That's your opinion. Please remember to respect others opinions and add "I think" instead of trying to force it as fact.

This. I've told you this a few times, and it would make you come across as a bit more open-minded.

I like Pong because, like Space Invaders, it proves my theory that, if you were to strip the graphics and storyline from a game, a good game would still be good to play

Also this. It's mostly why I prefer Spyro 3 (PsOne) to Halo (Xbox 360). I once got talked into playing Halo while I was at uni, and it was run around, shoot stuff, occasionally throw a grenade, repeat. Spyro has an almost endless free-roaming environment, plus there's a great amount of comedy in there, a huge amount of replay value, and it has a great learning curve, from the simple "Egg on a ledge" to the few extremely hard eggs that you need to find for game completion.

Why not make a DSL realistic one and re-arm it with the available components.

Wait, what?
Since the rules totally allow all DSL components, and its too late to change it loooooooooooooooool
Anyway, people are used to building DSL realistic bots and it is likely more difficult to think of an effective DSL Unrealistic design.
I had a pretty easy one, I just upgraded the bot that won BOTM. :gawe:

Pong.

It's important to the history of gaming, but I doubt anyone in this day in age would prefer it over modern games.
Why not? It's better than most of the half-diluted cr*p that's floating around in modern gaming. At least it's challenging, even if only slightly
Correct. It's better than 78% of the XBox 360 games on offer being shooters and war games and such.

Couple of things you could do here. Try to shrink the chassis around the components (turn Snap to Grid off if you still have it on), and rotate the extenders 90 degrees so both razors hit at the same time.

Judge burst :P
There is a version with a BSG but it can hardly lift anything.
Same problem that plagued Taur 2. It might be somewhat OP, but at least it's effective.

Ask a bank to bail you out.
Uhh... no, don't. That'll look really bad on your credit rating
His tax money bailed THEM out. An eye for an eye, and so forth.
