Do you even need Beater Bars? It doesn't look like the ends of the bar are tipped with anything. Turning the blade upside-down would be my advice,

I played The Incdredible Toon Machine, basically the same game but with a more cartoony feel, and less-realistic physics.

Oh yes, definitely. For the weapon motor, use a perm-80 (that's the smaller of the two perms), but mount it slightly off-centre. Then alternate attaching hex-slaves and extenders to the motor. If you're looking front-on at the robot, then branching from the motor to the left should go extender-hex-extender-hex. Branching to the right should go hex-extender-hex-extender-hex.
Put three teeth on each hexplate; I'm not sure what the best kind of tooth to use here is, I'll leave that up to you to decide. You'll probablyt have to make it taller than the original to prevent the teeth from scraping the ground, but I think it'll be a decent tradeoff.

I'll give it a go. Sump Thing That predator replica is epic.
Thanks. It took me hours to build, nice to see it still getting recognition.
Hope you don't mind me putting it in. I just thought that it shows how good the reps can be made.
Of course I don't mind people using pics of my replicas for that. I'm flattered that my bot gets to be your headliner. I'll probably enter this (surprising, I know) I'm trying to decide between sending Sump Thing, or building a new robot from scratch. Is it ok if I can't bulk-up Sumpthing to a heavyweight? I've got almost no extra room in there.

Hey Sonny I want to see the floor plan! :D
Sure. I apologize for my first-grader handwriting, it's not just because I was groggy, it isn't any better when I'm fully awake: This first picture is the waiting room itself. It's on the second floor of the building: The other sheet of paper is the first floor, not directly below the waiting room, but off to the side:

I dreamt I was in the waiting room at a doctor's office when three gunmen burst in and forced everyone on the ground. Before long, they started killing off hostages, so I knew I had to get out fast. I escaped, but then all of a sudden I was back in the doctor's office and had to escape all over again. I got trapped in this infinite loop, trying a different thing each time, but every time it would reset, either after I'd escaped, or before my attempt failed.
When I woke up I drew a floor plan of the doctor's office, if anyone would like to see. Tomorrow I have to visit a clinic I've never been to before. I'll bring my floor plan with me, and if the clinic looks anything like the one from my dream, I'm hightailing it out of there.

Thanks everyone, I'm so happy that my bot made the Plastic lineage proud. Bubbleman, Ian, Shish-Kabot, FOTPEX, those were some great 'bots, you guys gave me quite a few heart-stopping moments along the way.
I don't have a speech or anytihng prepared, I never anticipated that my little eco-friendly dillbot would go all the way, the competition was much tougher this time around. So thanks to STC for coming up with this great idea and hosting the tournaments, I hope to see many more.

Even so, there are few contexts where dead baby jokes are funny.

Fair enough. I was asking because people say they're so much better than skirt hinges, even when I present a design where I need the skirts to lie at an angle, rather than flat on the ground.
EDIT: This topic was meant to be in DSL technical support. My bad.

How do I make it so that a skirt attached to a door-hinge starts out at an angle instead of flat on the ground? I observe that it's a servo, so I can't adjust "Range of Motion Start" like I would a skirt hinge.

AUGH! I'm such an idiot, I forgot to put its name! Yes, it's Dr. Inferno Jr. Not terribly effective at battling but I figured if no-one else wanted to do it then I'd have a go.

Here's my prospective RW2 entry. I don't have any robots of my own, so I did someone else's:

have you ever noticed that everything that rhymes with "Pokerstars" sounds like a really unappealing place to play poker? There's Jokerstars as you pointed out, also Smokerstars, Choke-rstars, Croakerstars, and probably the most telling of all, Broke-rstars.

This Honda advert features a Rube Goldberg Machine made entirely out of car pats:
