You can get better ground clearance on the wheel if you rotate the motors properly.  Hit F12 and make sure it is parallel to the collision flat point.
The motors don't even touch the ground, i wanted to rotate it to be parallel to the chassis floor, but i don't wanna spend 30 minutes on snapper loading (not the initiation part that's hard, but guessing which part goes where when the bot snaps back to normal is).

NoirSuede : Hello my 13-year old self, since you're too lazy to re-snapper load the whole thing (I can't blame you though, it's boring), you can instead magically rotate the motors with BFE ! And no, this BFE isn't illegal at all so don't worry about it  ;)

So there I was, stumbling around in RA2 DSL, having some pointless fun, when I thought "Would it be possible to create an infinite amount of Chassis Points? After messing around in the chassis builder for about a half hour, I found out that it is possible, and can be done (in theory) in ANY COPY of RA2.

Here's how to make it work:

1. Boot up a copy of RA2, and head over to Team HQ. Then, create a new team (any name, any avatar).
2. Choose any empty bot file, and load it up.
3. Go over to chassis design, and choose "Draw Freeform."

4 (IMPORTANT PART). Uncheck Snap To Grid.
5. Try to position your cursor in the very, VERY top left of the chassis building grid. you might want to use high resolution, full screen, or movepixel to make sure it is at the limit of the grid.
6. If you have done this correctly, your cursor should register as being at point 0,0,0 on the game's X-Y-Z axis.
7. Press Left Click twice. For some odd reason, the game allows you to place 2 chassis points in the same place only at 0,0,0, but, because of the natural coding of RA2, registers both of these points as just 1 point.
8. Press Right Click twice, to remove these two points. Because the game has mistaken these two points for just 1 point, the system that counts how many points are on your robot, instead of resetting to 0, resets to 255. This allows you to break the usual 16-point limit on the chassis designer.
9. This allows you to place as many points on the robot as you such desire. Normal building laws still apply, so you cannot place a bunch of points close together, but it's just a bit of added flexibility.

WARNINGS:

Using 'Step 2' to try and bend the chassis whilst using this method will crash the game. Instead, only adjust the height, and do not touch the points in Step 2.
Going back from Step 2 to Step 1 will crash the game.
If you export the bot, the bot will crash the game the moment it is imported. In some rare cases, you may get it to import, but it will crash the game when loaded up in a fight or in the bot lab.
It is HIGHLY recommended that you reset the game after building an infinate-point bot, so as to exile unwanted glitching. Doing this, but keeping it in your Teams folder, will not crash your game, for reasons yet unknown.

Are you accepting a Shogun (or what ever that samurai popup that isn't ronin) rebuild ? That thing has half-sheet wedges (bad) and only 2 samurais (should be 4).

Don't use the back stabilizer and get heavier hammers.
The back stabilizer's fine, just make it shorter, increase the front stabilizer's angle to 50 degrees, and get a half-sheet to protect your bot's bottom.

1.Downgrade the motors to piglets and add MOAR RAZORS
2.Remove all of the decorations and add a simple trapper.
3.add a skirt/metal hinge wedge (or 2).

Are the top skirts for if it gets flipped or trapping. Because it doesnt look invertible and those won't be good wedges.

Also, you're a bad engie for not setting up a tele.


Yeah, I'm pretty good at the whole Spy-spotting thing because I main Pyro, but Marty is an excellent spy. We do have some awesome sap/break-sapper battles though sometimes, all the meanwhile I gotta watch my back, literally :P


And yeah tele is numero uno all the time. Metal can be found for buildings. Teammates cannot be 'found' for battles when they're running miles to the battlefield.
But the question is, when do you have time to place BOTH entrance and exit tele ? while this question isn't very tormenting for normal engie's, time's when you can place an exit tele is very limited for a battle engie (Enginners that use the Gunslinger meele).
