I've yet to have luck with other setups but I'll keep trying. Anyway, new bot, called 'Armoured Spaceship'.

Was goofing around and ended up with this bot's chassis. Then I thought, what can I make with this, and decided on a MW popup. Then, when I wanted to add more stuff, a cruiserweight. Then there was still more I wanted to add, so I've ended up with a HW:



As well as being good looking, it also is a bone fide good fighter, with excellent wedges. Not very good against HS, though unsurprisingly, but the chassis wouldn't go any shallower.

Also made a version with rubbers, but I haven't tested it in battle yet:



Exactly the same stats except 20kg less ballast and 20kg more in wheels.

Thoughts? The interior is relatively impractical because of the chassis, hence the pink and ballast, and at the same time I don't particularly want to put casters on it because looks. Maybe I'll try angled ramplates.

I'm rusty with creating rules but here we go...

Ironforge MW
Teams of 4 making each bot through the standard CW process.
Up to 8 captains with 24 builders (1 captain for every 3 builders)
Please indicate if you would like to be considered for captain. You shall be chosen by myself based on previous captaincy and general rank etc...
Teams will be assigned randomly in secret.

That would have put the whole DDT arrangement out the back of the chassis and imo it would have upset the weight distro; fortunately, 090901's suggestion worked, once I re-eFFE'd the drive:
