If this is right, then he's the old fogey around here which is a relief to me. I'm 23.

You have to do it in internet explorer. It don't work in Firefox.
@FOTEPX: Stop spamming this thread you knew you were going to lose anyways.
It works in my firefox?
It also works in my Firefox, so it may be a computer-by-computer case here.

I prefer it to driving in a 'city' with more than 500 people ;D
500? Wow, you do live in the middle of nowhere. My hometown has about 13,000 people (and is surrounded by farmland), and where I live now has more than 300,000 people in it.

Yeah so I was driving with my cousin home from a town ~30 miles away. It went fine, except nearly hitting a cat in the middle of the road. So I was about 2 miles from home, but a Combine harvester fell of its trailer in the middle of the road, thus blocking the way home. So I had to go about 10 miles out of the way to get to my house.
Anyone else have this problem lately?
To be honest, I haven't had this problem in about 5 years. I've been living elsewhere (to such an extent that seeing farm equipment is now a rarity for me instead of the norm). Do I miss it? Not really.

Of course I end up with Pwnator in the first round... My great luck strikes again. See you in the loser's bracket.
Actually, you ended up with VB. I ended up with S_M.
And as for me... I'm facing Bisector (Click's devastator) in the opening round. If I can somehow bob and weave and avoid that dang spike, I may have a small shot. If I'm stuck at any point against a wall, my goose is cooked.

Great. I get the one type of robot I am absolutely going to lose to in round 1, and the worst part of it all is that in my very first BBEANS, I get thrown into the proverbial fire.
Thanks, Click. Thanks a lot.

You are mistaken. DS is the best bot here, period !
He's right. Unless The Alien can get to the side and stay to the side while swinging the weapon, it'll be just a fight of "will The Alien's weapon break off before it's all over".

Goldenfox, please stop that. "The Game" became unfunny about three years ago.
Glad to see the thread for BBEANS is quickly falling apart again. I'm absolutely 100% thrilled with some peoples' levels of self restraint. Amazing.
What? I have shown restraint.

I just hope I can win a fight or two in this. I know I could have done better (lack of NPC T-64's and better extension work are my 2 biggest weaknesses) but considering this is my first tournament, I think I did alright.

And some components are rubbish altogether.
*cough* Servo Motors *cough*
Not entirely. Servo-boosted robots, such as the one posted on the front page, can be quite deadly with servo motors.

I effing hate that game. My gaming club owns it, and it's possibly one of the most inane board games I've ever seen played. Hell, the game can even defeat the purpose of playing it: at any time, if all people agree they win the game, the game's over and everyone wins.

They... do? I was meaning the half-gray, half-striped portion, not where the attachment point currently is.

Nah, Kurt Ramis is not too bad at all.
Only thing I wish that could've happened is getting some better motors on it. A shame that NPC T-64's don't have an attachment point in the back of the motor itself.

Only thought I have now is: am I going to be the SFTW of this tourney?

1) in the options there is a tick box for full screen... make sure you have your correct resolution set first though.
2) if you want a static cam anywhere in the arena use F10 otherwise for orbit cams you will have to make do (there are different follow cams though push the same key more then once to get them)
1) I've attempted that, it doesn't work. Whenever I attempt to do that, the game minimizes and I can't re-open it. 2) I'll try it.

I'm trying to play NAR AI 2.2 with my system (Win7 Home Premium 64) and it won't allow me to play in fullscreen. Is there any way to fix this, or am I stuck in windowed mode?
Also, while in windowed mode the orbit camera (F2) does not work correctly and routinely goes out of orbit. Is there a camera angle that can keep it hard-line behind the robot without it acting on its own accord, or will I have to figure out how to make said camera angle?

Mostly German, with bits and pieces of Native American (about 1/32) and Mayflower English.

Seen that brick breaker over on the RFL Forums at Hellphi, and it looked quite nice.
