I use Cordless Drill motors. Trevor Wright said that my robot will scoot along the arena floor, like a pondskater on water.

List of components you need:
S/C Transmitter and Reciever (preferably Futaba) 2x Cordless Drill motors 2x 8:1 Gears (to attach to the drill motor spindle) A lot of chain (making sure that the width of the chain is the same as the gears) 2x or 4x 32:1 Gears (2 if you want the robot to have 2 wheels, and 4 if you want it to have 4) 2x 16V NiCads (You need a spare one just in case) A lot of wire 2 Anderson's Connecters (Or Dean's - I use Dean's but you can use Anderson's, just means that you have less weight for the weapon, if you want one) 1.5m x 2m Sheet of 5mm HDPE - trust me, I ordered the 1cm one. BIG MISTAKE Good cutting equipment A lot of angling tools.

I've just suddenly noticed that all the advanced users (with the exception of Joe and Nary) are American.

A couple of years ago, me and my neighbours made a parody of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (or Sorcerer's Stone to you Americans). Due to the fact that it was so bad, we made a sequel, or are in the process of making one, entitled: "Gary Snotter and the Chamber of Onions". We've done about 3/4 of it, apart from a couple of scenes. Here is the trailer (in progress anyway - it's not quite done yet):
Obviously it's not quite finished, hence the blank spots. Share your comments on it below.
