ayt https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Exchange/MW/Pwnator_RIIIpblade.bot

yeah a stilt bot rebuild seems to be the best solution which is a shame since the original stock ripblade was a crappy nightmare ripoff

eh

It's actually terrible, but it's slightly less terrible than the current Ripblade and more consistent.

6: fragile bot (note to pwn: wouldn't it be better to drop the discs size down by one and change the razors to a set of plows so the bot isn't a super super glass cannon or is there not enough reach?)
Actually, I have built one before going back to the one on the splash:

Trash. When the weapons throw a bot up, the wedges get stuck under the plows, and the bot just grinds instead of juggling stuff around.

Either way, still not satisfied with the result. I'll try to swap the outer 140cms to 60cms and see if it's marginally better or something.

I NEED SUGGESTIONS HALP

ROFLMAO

Get the v1.4 patch so that you could get access to the 140cm square extender which only weighs 5kg. You could boost the weapon system with the spare weight.

3 years of experience definitely does show on that bot. You might want to make the wedge longer but still, good job!

Give it a wedge or two. Also, you don't need to put ramplates on the side hammer arms. The weapons should double as protection.

The wammer probably just needs the bottom rack turned a notch downward but holy crap does it look GOOD

and heelie razer is awsum
You probably would have placed another caster in the front if the extender work was cleaner but whatever you still get style points for the likeness to the original

PFFFFT YOU COULD HAVE ROTATED THE ARMS SO THAT ALL MOTORS ARE COLINEAR

also you could downgrade to shinies for some casters or something

There's still a way to make it invertible and give it another supervolt. You're getting there.

Snapper height and proper extender setup is key.

You can do it all by yourself, and when you figure it out the first time, it will feel great. Just take some time to think and play around with your setup.

Remember, AC uses only 2 Snapper IIs. Start from there.

yeah i had 2 more kg to spare so i can extend the arm haha

meanwhile, here are some failed prototypes:

The bot on the left is a TORNADO clone with a vertical axle setup. Sadly, the HPZs are too separated for the wheels to touch the ground. Nothing much to do if I want to keep the vertical axle, which was the point of the bot.

The one on the right is an attempt to build a MW hammer with a ramming rack, static drive, and a long arm. So basically what's missing is a stabilizer setup and I'm figuring out how to free up weight for it. Might try an external drive setup on anchors for a much smaller and wider chassis.

You don't need to pack the casters that tightly. You could jam 5 evenly spaced casters per row and it would still be well protected. That would allot one more caster on your currently top row and 2 more casters above it.

Is it really fine for the bottom razors to reach beyond the wedges?

angled drive is also cool

ehh so i updated it and it's marginally better

dropped 2 razors to upgrade the weapon guards and drive

a bit more unstable but it now it can hold its own against ALARM and REVENGE, plus Devil still suicides to the razor rack in 2 hits woohoo

Also, if you rebuild the chassis with the middle section a couple of ticks narrower, you could free up enough weight for another black.

A powerful popup can do it in less than 4 seconds.
