RA1 is dead, because it sucked
Custom components will not become legal if they are unbalanced. It is clear though that a well distributed and balanced custom components/rebalancing mod can become very popular.
And I do not know if using components without having them is possible, but who knows what someone could come up with. I would guess not but you never know *and in pops Serge saying *oh sure I can whip that right up* XD

Although we are sad about so many great builders leaving, you cannot say that it was unexpected. You cant expect someone to stay interested with a game for too many years. Whether or not you think that RA2 is dying, the forums are growing. For a forum this small, it is amazing how active it is. This forum will never die. When great builders leave, more rise up to take their place in our history. Something special about these forums is that we remember so well things that are important in our history, and people who were great. Instead of worrying about the builders who left, worry about your robots and how you can enter them and yourselves in the ranks of those who we talk about and miss so much.
tl;dr: Do not worry about those who left, just remember their history, and work to add your own page to it, for your own achievements.

Problem with those is though... If your chassis weighs a certain amount, you have to built to exactly that much below the weight limit for it to still be 5000 kilos. If you have a 150 kilo chassis, and then you add the -4200 one and build to the normal weight limit, it weighs 5150 kilos... I think...

Well guys I wouldn't run it yet I've already sent the signups for The Winds of Change but after I think so. We would have to agree on rules though. I'm thinking DSL, Realistic, no Flail Sheck spinners and that would be about it. I'd have to try it though. *Goes off to build UHW spammed with razor flails and one spammed with flamethrowers*

If it was every match then Flaming Whizzer, Smashbox 2, Child's Play IV, and Seism 13 all fit in that category, but if you mean every battle, then I don't really know.

@Ounce: I need to beat you again anyways. We are tied 2-2 and I need the equalizer match. >:)
@Urjak: I'm more afraid of your flipper because all it takes is just one flip and I'm gone, instead of Tunneler which SnSnS 3 might be able to escape from.
