Stop asking to make everything MW. Stock HW is a good idea for this.

Wheel guards are a very nice touch. Got a bit of a T-Minus vibe to it now. What have you attached the Shark's tooth with?

IRL building isn't about effectiveness, it's about making the most aesthetically pleasing and realistic robot you can get away with. Metal Hinge wedges aren't seen on bots IRL at all, skirt hinges rarely, but almost never for offense, normally it's for side skirts.

Metal Hinge wedges = Poor show.
Chassis shape is pretty good for going with the flippers, though. I'd maybe attempt to add NPC's if at all possible, or maybe even 4WD TWM3R's. If you have the weight for it, that is. 3686

Yeah, remove the center poly. The angled panels will do the job just as well for far less weight. =)

I might lose the central 80cm poly skirt on that skirt hinge. It seems to be eating up unnecessary weight, in my view. That'll probably give you enough weight for Titanium 3 at least.
I do like the setup, though, with the side panel. 3689

Just needing a break from all the mindless spamming, huh?
![]() It's cool, everyone needs some time out sooner or later. I won't try and drag this into a discussion about who gets kill's mod spot, though, it's the staff's decision in the end. Of which GK is now a part, well done to him again. If MNB wins, I'm bringing the Irn-Bru. =D 3691
Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: October 24, 2011, 07:10:36 PM »At the risk of sounding my own trumpet, I might consider myself the campaign poster for that argument. I do have Asperger's Syndrome, but then I have a good chunk of Tourette's thrown in on top of that, which wasn't great while I was growing up. But you don't see me lashing out towards other members for no reason, or attacking a group of people who happen to disagree with my personal preferences. If you have autism, or any other kind of mental "disorder" (I hate that word), then you CAN work around that, there's no reason why you should allow it to drag you down. And yeah, you're right there. It's aggravating to see him use his condition to try and justify the stupid crap he pulls off- I knew that a couple of members on here are on The Spectrum (myself included), and they're all generally very good people, so I see no reason why he should use it as a scapegoat when everyone else is mature enough not to use it as a scapegoat.I'm not sure. But all I know of 027 is that he's Badnik's autistic little brother who uses his condition as a scapegoat for all the various stupid crap he does. People (including me) tried to show the errors of his ways but he wouldn't have it, got moody, made a leaving thread and purpousely got banned.am i the only one who couldn't give less of a sh** that 027lb is back ?Is he that religious retard? Or was that somebody else? You know, the one who thought he could see ghosts or some crap. 3692

That's why the bye bot is deliberately terrible. =P
It is an interesting hypothetical, but I suppose we don't have much choice other than to declare it the champion. I've got no idea what else we could do. I still remember back in Wild Robots Live 2 when Reier lost to the Byebot. It still didn't get past the Pod stages, though. 3699

It looks like an Axle build to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it got all havoky whenever it moved. Looks alright, though, I might have a go at this if I can be bothered.
