I am in! Only thing I ask is that the deadline is long. I am not going to be able to build anything until July 1st at the earliest.

Wow, surprised ACAMS actually tried my idea... unless I misread it.
If I did not misread it, there should be rules. Like if you abuse it (changing peoples posts to start a flame war), you lose priveleges forever and the thread is deleted. 3665

Of course I enjoy myself! Its just that It is not very enjoyable to finish reading the showcase posts, and thinking "Hmmm, should I read the Playground posts. That place is really fun, until S32 and frezal get there and start a flame war". And then I get no fun :P

I dont really think we need a real robotics mod.
@Sparkey: I would not be asking for anything by the way of moderating any time soon. 3669
Site News and Feedback / Re: Rules of Banning« on: June 19, 2010, 10:24:51 AM »
I still think that the Playground SHOULD be moderated. Its a place where people can still enjoy themselves, but many threads are ruined by flame wars when people were having fun.
Is there a method where people can moderate their own threads? Maybe that would work in the plaground... 3670
Site News and Feedback / Rules of Banning« on: June 18, 2010, 11:57:54 PM »
Are there any set ground rules for getting banned? Like Forum ground rules and whatnot?
IMO There should be some rules about what is allowed and what is not. There are too many people to leave it to interpretation. With rules to follow, and consequences when broken, this forum may become better behaved... 3671

@frezal: Reier may have been immature at times, but NEVER as bad as you say he is.
@System32: You are officially worse than when you joined. I have stuck with these forums for 2 years. I have seen hundreds come and go. These forums have never been in as much turmoil as you two have created. @frezal: What happened to the awesome guy who joined before BBEANS5, and he was semi-nice... ish. This should be a great time of growth for these forums, with so many members coming in and willing to learn. But instead of guidance, they are not getting the vet presence they need to go from good to great. Face it, you two have sent off Rolo, Infiniteinertia, pyscolone, Reier, and I am probably next. I am sick of this sh**. 3672

No Somebody volunteers too! I was going to try and copy what Nary did before I saw this. :D
As long as I get like a little guide of what to do or something, I'll take the job. 3676

I think by Mako clone we all meant "Inspired by Mako". Even though they were built by the same guy, its pretty clear that Mako inspired DOAM.

When I click the "link to calendar" button, it comes up with a page that says that an error has occurred. The Reason: "You aren't allowed to modify just any post."

@Sage: ACAMS deleted a bunch of the ones who hadn't visited in months and had no posts to speed up the forum.

To me, a Mako-lyte constitutes a dual VS with axle wedges.
