How did you do that? Did you stab one of the wheels with a knife?
Genuinely don't know how I did that. you should totally cut out paper in the shape of circles with a hole in the middle of them, color the paper and stick them on the wheels.
When I get the new wheels I will. Still need a name, suggestions pl0x. Edit: This genuinely happened, Tony brought out the kit and put it on a table, then a spider decided to crawl out from the battery compartment and rest under a drill motor.

Robutt. I'm getting new wheels for it at some point as the current ones are knackered. Also managed to figure out which leads go into what pin on the receiver to get one stick drive and tank drive.

(Image removed from quote.) Look at my rod, it's about 9 inches long, and 3/4 inches thick, and once I've worked on it, I will use it to ram into others.
So I decided to buy a Scot Bots kit from Tony Smith and Jamie McHarg, but anything without a weapon would be crap so I got this cut from a bar of aluminium tonight, with the intention of working on it tomorrow night, grinding one end to a point and threading the other end on a lathe.
I'm planning on making the spike interchangeable with a scoop which will be made from scrap bits of metal and wood lying around the Techie storerooms, and a chain with a padlock or something at the end as some form of flail.
I don't expect this to be the most promising or damaging of weapons or indeed robots, but it's a start, and it'll still exceed Stratos by far.
will it be a shish-kabutt lifty thing or just a static spike?
Static. None of my weapons will be powered.

You should absolutely sharpen the end like a straw thing and call the bot "Gauging" :3
I heard that's how gauged ear piercings are done- with a straw shaped metal shiv basically.
Which reminds me- You aren't roboteer grouped, why?
Nah, a spike will do fine, Kossy. I'm not Roboteer grouped because I don't think robots that were bought or kits count. It's highly unlikely that I'll become Roboteer grouped after this because the only things I'm doing are putting all the bits together (might have to create the circuitry from a bag of bits) and making weapons.

(Image removed from quote.) Bye-bye Drumroll II.
Ouch. Wasn't that Haz's bot that did that? If so GJ Haz.
I think it was NST that did it, trying to find a video is hard work at the moment.

It's World Homeopathy Awareness Week. If just one in seven billion humans become aware of it, it's been totally effective.

"Tracked robots are eligible, the weight cushion is - The weight of the tracks do not count towards the weight of the robot."
When you say "tracks", do you mean "treads?"
Yeah. I prefer using "tracks" but they're the same thing right?
