I would love to see a vid of the house bots just sitting still and then charging violators who cross the line. I would like to know that my stupid AI bot does not attack the house bot and ONLY goes after the bot it is supposed to.
I would like to see the rules updated and one of the other tournaments finished so this one can start. I am all for tournaments and plan on joining future tournaments, but the rules must be clear and we can't have two tournaments starting a week and one finishing every six months. If we are gonna have this many tournaments starting they will need to be single elimination and over quick. 3643

Why do you morons keep saying that.....you have not seen the arena....you have not seen the house bots.....
![]() This tournament will not start untill ALL the rules are plain and clear and AT LEAST one of the current tournaments completes. Besides, who thinks WhamettNuht is smart enough to make the house bots stay in their corner untill you are in the hazard zone for 10 seconds? HUH? HUH?.......ANYBODY? This Tournament is not well planned and I am afraid to say the ELBITE tournament needs details worked out too. Finish the current tournaments as soon as possible then worry about new ones. 3644

I suggest that this tournament and all future tournaments be 2 out of 3 (like BBEANS) Single Elimination......tournaments lasting 4,5, and 6 months is starting to get boring and old.......especially with new people wanting to start a tournament every week.

You have to edit the .bot file with notepad++
There are tutorials on the beetlebros site and probably the RA2 WIKI If you ask how to find either one you will be suspended 2 weeks for being stupid and lazy. 3647

It is still a LONG ways from being approved.....look at the last several posts. this is just the break the ice post and the date will most likely change. I still see several rules to work out. 3649

General Support / AI Problem...« on: October 04, 2008, 01:12:45 PM »
I bet you didn't.......or it would work!! Check for a missing ' or just one letter out of place or missing will crash it.......if your bot name is "mean (two spaces) bot" and you type in "mean (one space) bot" it will crash. (hehehe......ask Starcore because I am bad about putting 2 spaces in my bot names)

General Support / !@#$%^& Virus« on: October 04, 2008, 01:05:21 PM »
virtumonde is VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, hard to remove. I got it not long ago and I am pretty good at removing stuff like that and even go into the registery and pluck it out by the roots.......but that is the hardest one I have ever done.......I gave up and completely reformatted my hard drive. There are a couple of removal tools out there, but it installs a root kit and just comes right back.

General Support / Graphics Problem« on: October 03, 2008, 08:51:47 AM »
It may, but the download version IS 1.2 so you are not doing anything. The 1.3 was made to fix the graphics problem with nvidia cards, but since the graphics are in the UI folder and they are different, it will mess up the download version of the game.

Sorry I am late responding, but I was on slow internet .
DO NOT USE 1.2 or 1.3 patch with the download version! Since support is nonexistant from the game makers I made an nvidia fix patch for the download version of the game....be sure to read the install instructions. You can find it in the downloads section under "Patches" or here https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/Patches/nvidia_fix_dl_version.rar 3659
