I think the first one would do better with frenZy hammers, but it is still ballin.
High flippers are better at flipping unless you make the wedge so steep as to prevent flips. 364

Challenge Board / Re: RA2 CHALLENGE THREAD - DISCUSSIONS« on: February 19, 2018, 02:52:10 PM »The idea that you put forward sounds good, however the idea also gives me a bad feeling around the fact that anyone can pretty much poorly host a series of challenges as just a quick, cheap way of getting the title. Sure that if this idea was placed forward, there will be a set of restrictions that will come with it when anyone tries to earn the title including; having a good challenge hosting record, being consistent when hosting and having their hosting skills received well by the other members on this forum. But even with the rules in place, there's still going to be a few forum members still trying to do what has been mention earlier in hopes they can go title seeking instead of doing well of deserving the title. Yea, they have also been to do that in tournaments for years now. If someone has unpopularity as a challenge host, because of lacking effort or having low quality recordings, then participants can simply chose not to accept that person as a host. 369

The spinning graspers trap the other robot and let the needle hit consistently I guess. The wheels in the shell are also a gimmick I thought was cool. Blah, 397.8kg with NPC Fasts. It's likely wedgey because it can actually drive under stuff in the test garage. 372

Challenge Board / Re: Challenge Belt - February 2018« on: February 12, 2018, 01:48:25 PM »not helpful but lol Well, historically there have been three kinds of robots. 1. IRL robots An IRL needs to be buildable and drivable in the real world and pass an IRL safety test. 2. Semi-realistic robot You can the part together IRL, but you'll need a special effects team and a multi-million dollar budget to get the robot to move/not break. 3. Unrealistic robots You need computer graphics to make this work because these robots are 100% bonkers. IronForge uses #2 95% of the time. |
