I tried to AI Koss' entry, but I couldn't.
Is that any reason to reject it? Did you ask for help with the AI?
It was a linear actuator powered crusher with a spinner element in the crusher. The main problem was I couldn't find a way to make it not insanely havoky and also actually making all the bits work. Koss knew the trouble I had with it and was cool with me leaving it out.

Because I've already got a rule in place deciding what happens in the event of byes being needed. Currently we have a full bracket so if we go from 16 robots to 15 then i'd need to decide who gets the bye.

Nah, I decided that if I don't actually do the tournament, then theoretically anyone could have won the tournament so you're all winners.
Seriously though i'm making robot splashes right now. My problem is I still can't ai one of the bots, so I can't roll the brackets. I'm working on a solution.

I'll be honest, ai'ing is not my forte. I plugged the changed code into a copy of other.py and tried to run it with appropriate control name changes (Kill, RaiseLinAcu), and the game just crashed.
Edit: It's semi working now after I changed the AI register names, but if you could tell me how to use self.GetPistonPosition(ID of piston) so it can stop being a walking havok bomb that'd be great.

I need a different AI for one of the robots for Pot Luck 2 (Guess which). What I need is other.py (Littlemetalfriend) but for it to raise a linear actuator up to its max when nothing is in the smartzone.
Any ideas?

I've got all the robots I need and a complete bracket so the trial of the Wealdstone raider will now happen after the main tournament as a side event.
