They had wheelchair dragons as well? That's a first...
You know how it goes though, the one in the wheelchair has to be insanely smart and really good at everything except walking. I found out that Tvtropes calls it Handicapped Badass, which turned out to be a lot more PC then my guess, Cripple Sue.
Ah, yes- that particular kind of character-in-a-wheelchair is mainly based off Oracle, from the Batman comics.

It's an Echo1 M134 Minigun (Multi-barrelled Machine Gun). It weighs about 17 kilograms, and fires at a rate of over 6000 rounds per minute

Yup. Some Rule of Cool in there as well, seen as Too Awesome to Use
Never stopped Wilhelm. He carries one around on his back But it is made of Life Force rather than any actual metal, so it's nearly weightless... and fire energy bullets Too bad he's a Next-Genner, no one uses machies in the main line... not even Ryder (who uses a multipurpose blaster that's even bigger than he is) or Cannon (who, despite being able to manipulate firearms, mostly resorts to slow-firing ones like bazookas and actual cannons)

Mind you, there was also one used during 'nam that was nicknamed "Puff the Magic Dragon"- is that any better?
