Ooh, I like the idea of this a lot.

I'll throw in something for sure.

Also, is it invertible?
Yes, did you see the wheel on top of the chassis?

I did but I'm asking whether the bar gets in the way or not. It looks fairly similar to me.

It looks fairly nice actually.

You could probably just make it into a middleweight if you were to shrink the chassis.

Also, to make it more realistic, only have one support above and one underneath because currently, the bars are floating above/below the disc. Make sure it follows where the motor is to where the disc is connected.

Also, is it invertible?

Sorry for the double post but I just would like to update people on the process.

Because four teams have also sent AI lines, the process should be made much faster so thank you to the teams who did that.

As you can see, I have personally AI'ed a team myself and after a few tries, I got it to work. As a note, if you have named the smartzones yourself, make sure you do it correctly.

As for the three remaining teams, they will be done tomorrow. Filming may also hopefully start tomorrow.

Sorry for the long wait guys but I promise you that the quality of the filming will be top quality. As a small warning though, due to my disgusting internet speed (5x dial-up average), that videos will be uploaded one per day.

There we go.

All teams are full. The AI'ing process will begin today, hopefully. Thank you for sitting tight, chaps.

I have no idea what RA2 Retooled is other than a new pack which appears to be new. With that being the case, I like the idea of using it.

I'd prefer not to be up against veterans of the DSL pack.

hey someone should send a bot, like seriously, even if you dont have a partner just send one and hope someone else semds a bot. thanks.

Ummm... can we just get a set of 2 byebots made so that this tournament can start?

I'm chasing down people that have talked about their interest in joining. I hope to receive the last two entrants by the end of today.

I don't understand why it was moved in the first place. It was easy to get to via the top of the forum.

Don't have long, dears.

I will stop accepting entrants at 12 AM BST tomorrow.

Might be time to chase each other.

Yo mouldy, there are no rules against joining multiple teams. Are we allowed to enter multiple bots in different teams (considering how slowly this is filling)?

Just give it some time, chap. Still talking to a few old chaps to get them back on.
I'm in a team with DemonofTomorrow and both of our bots are done(but not AI'd, haven't had time to do so but mine has the controls named correctly and smartzone already in place while his doesn't require a smartzone). I'm not sure if he sent the bots(think I might have caused some confusion with that) but if you don't have them yet I guess I could send them.

If it isn't listed on the front page, then I have not received the entries.

Righto. I'll pester him if I talk to him.
Just putting it out there that I have a bot ready. Badnik said he's team but if he doesn't show soon I'll team with someone else.

Welcome, Orange.

As a first robot, it's fairly good. The only big problems I see with it is large exposed wheels and the weapon motor sticking out.

Dear God.

Anywho, just to inform people, I will be going away for 5 days, come back on the weekend, then be gone for another 5 days after that. So, if I receive any more entries, they will be entered when I come back at the weekend. I'll also begin AI'ing them too.

Do those wedge parts do much damage? Do the panic attack skirts get in the way? Might be worth angling the PA skirts outward a bit.

Wedges do a fair amount of damage, around 150-300 per second.

PA skirts are far enough apart to catch most things it would seem. It's a fairly wide bot.

My entry for WTT II. I haven't built in 2 years, as you can see.

It's a lightweight. Weight is Steel 3. Runs on 4 Ants and drives with 2 Astroflights.
