most "white belt grind" is just people playing deathcore with less melodeath but that's pretty solid in comparison. I don't listen to brutal death as much as I used to, but the broader genre is still my thing and I still listen to Wormed, Abysmal Torment and Disgorge from time to time.
i hate the idea of deathcore as a genre. metalcore is metalcore, i file the brutal with the technical and anything particularly brutal is just modern death to me. keeps my itunes in check. ive personally never heard much grind with any melodeath influence, if any at all. im actually curious to hear some if you have any! as someone who was completely engulfed in that scene when it was big and as it still holds the biggest soft spot in my brutal little heart outside of my thrashy hardcore punk, i find the best way to describe it is a fusion of technical metal a-la dillinger escape plan with thier spastic, stop start jazz elements holding hands with early hardcore influenced grind in the sense of incorperating our good old heavy 4/4 breakdowns (or in the case of the jazzier of the bunch, like daughters, sawtooth grin or as the suns sets, 3/4 or stranger). they skip together joyfully through a sea of chronic blast beats, making the world of grind a happier place for those not too kvlt and br00tal to take grindcore purity too seriously (oh! now that i think about it, the first number twelve looks like you had some very melodic tendencies, check the double guitar solo at the end of jesus and tori... i always felt they drew that a little more from old school screamo roots than melo-death in that sense but that solo screams otherwise) now im just beating off all over my keyboard though. let me shut up haha im listening to the great redneck hope - god, are you there? please help me stop masturbating

They wouldn't be developing this if they hadn't been following us all this time. They know we're here, and they know what we use the game for. Don't just assume it's going to be a less trash RA1. Given all the technology available as evidenced by the various attempts of individual users on RA3 and alternative robot combat game development, expect big things. I'm honestly surprised Gabriel Interactive hasn't already reached out directly to us.
In other news, I'll be back.
see thats what im talking about. im amazed this went seven whole pages before somebody said what i've been thinking any potential ra3 could be since before this was announced they couldn't screw this up if they ****ing tried! we've damn near halfway made the thing by now if you really think about the sheer amount of fan made content and odd half-games and bizarro patchwork we've moulded for our blessed little game if they really wanted to mail it in they could just combine it all and make it mobile or multiplayer or something and still end up with a mildly marketable end product

when i had it at least once a week but now that im stuck on mac-only and it runs funny on here and i have to do that whole windows false partition nonsense just to get it running all glitched out i don't really touch it. i've got it installed on my brother's computer just in case i absolutely can't continue life without throwing down an idea i had but it's rare that happens as much now and the dude's a bit stingy on letting me get my build on as much as i love the lil dude

i thought i was the only dude here who digs some brutal death from time to time! gorguts is pretty sweet dude
also heres what im listening to. probably the best thing to come out of the whole white belt grind scene that popped up briefly, i dont know how they got lumped in with them bands though cause this rips face and is a classic in my opinion. one of my favorite disks of all time
yall better listen to that front to back! unless you don't like sludge/doom stuff in which case you can skip the 10 minute last track but i dig it

i hope to god russian that youre into kid dynamite cause if you like your hardcore punk with pop-punk influence you damned well oughtta be listening to it in 30-second-to-minute-long bursts like a real banger is supposed to my dude
get hard kid!
Oh, no. I do like hardcore (your guys hardcore, not happy hardcore) to a certain extent. (30 seconds to mars damn sucks, bro. BTW, what's this kid dynamite?)
HAHAHAHAHAHA 30 Seconds to Mars is Hardcore PFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTT..... maybe Generic Arena Rock. Kid Dynamite is amazing!
Why do I feel so insulted by this? Seriously.
i should be the one feeling insulted! you made it sound like i namedropped 30sec to mars in a hardcore conversation! haha, yoou bastard!

you're damned right they are! youd probably like these guys too. i saw their very last show before the hiatus down in babylon back when i lived on the island. the guitarist/lead singer of my old band was a huge fan and brought me out to see em and it was a riot. i remember them being a lot faster and more hardcore live though, their recorded stuff is not so much down my alley but it's probably right down yours. check em out

i like my hardcore more in the grindy/powerviolence-y wheelhouse but kid dynamite and these guys are both in my hardcore punk folder in itunes cause i keep it simple and i dont like the word powerviolence for any band but man is the bastard. maybe combatwoundedveteran. idk i just dont use that word at all
get hard kid!
i got this on ten inch vinyl
Oh, no. I do like hardcore (your guys hardcore, not happy hardcore) to a certain extent. (30 seconds to mars damn sucks, bro. BTW, what's this kid dynamite?) At least MassimoV understands me.
Anyways, I'm more a piano player. I doubt you guys really care about piano music though.
who said anything about 30 seconds to mars, dude? i was sayin' any hardcore worth it's weight in vinyl at least as far as im concerned doesnt really go too far over a minute in song length. that's just my swag though

i actually liked that rainbow road thing but hitting my nostalgia button like that is probably going to be the only way youd ever get me listening to trancey housey oontz tunes. its literally the only thing i dont listen to regularly. my electronica folder is all idm, noisey stuff and hip hop instrumentals
