Spring loadeds take 280 amps IIRC, I may be off on that though.
On atomic, you're better off using a judge, if not only because it'll make Nar rage ;P

Is this about OpenRA or something?

Anyways, I would like the following: A shotgun, a sniper rifle, an AK-47, a buzzsaw, a chainsaw, a whip (lol), and a taser.
Hey look it's my acestor
Erm, anyway, that comment souns more like it belongs in the mods and designs bit.

You're missing a mace in the bottom right.
::2mad Ah, I didn't see that, i'll try and get another one on the finished thing...
Looks quite impressive, in my view. Not too sure about the way the weapons are attached, though.
Well the original idea about the weapons (when this was just going to have 24 weapons on it) was a kind of double layer thing, razorz are out and out attack and the maces are there for more endurance and aggressive protection.
I don't know if they actually do work like that, but I liked the idea anyway
If you're saying that I should stick them on each AP on one extender though, I'll gladly do that

Well this is the bot that's caused me soo much pain recently, absolution:

Now, it's still not quite done, I'd like to tweak a few things still, but I probably will have to wait another day to do that and I want to show you guys it now
Yep, there's 24 maces and 24 razors on 4 HPZ's on absolution. It hasn't havoked in the 3 matches it's played and in testing, and it's quite stable (I'm gonna tweak the weapons a little bit more though to make it completely stable, it turns to one side ATM)

Ofcourse, there are weaknesses. Namely plastic armour and normal tek drive.
However, it managed to beat clockwork hydra, malestrom and karnage in SC3 without these weaknesses being exploited.

« on: November 23, 2010, 12:00:29 PM »
I like Porsches.

Meh, porsche shapes are good, but all look the same (except the carrera gt which I love the look of)

Heh I forgot to post about my favourite cars...
Not sure which one I like the most, similar to the poll thing.
Ford GT90

Isn't the gt 90 the one that jeremy clarckson hates?

Anyway for me it's the reventon virus bomb wisely posted before, ferrari f50 spider, audi r8, aston martin db9 (i prefer it to all the new bits they've added on the newer astons), ascari a10, dodge viper, original ford gt, and ofcourse ANY ford mustang!

Yeah, i'm pretty much the same as Nar, I'm notorious for doing as little work as possible in school (haven't revised for any of my gcse's and still getting a*s :p)

Just got back from having a filling

*Grabs Scorpion by the neck*

would you grab George Francis by the neck also ?

because he said that Chaos 2 was outdated also  ;)
*points at pwnator's avatar to distract GF*
I didn't know he said that!
Do you think he would have had a chaos 3 for a season 8?

Yeah, it was attached to the rear AP.
Atleast I only have to redo a little bit, still, i'm having computer issues ATM so i'll have to wait to fix it  :(

Ah, I see.
So they're always gonna reset then?
And there's no way I can fix that?
And i'm going to have to ditch that bot I just spent too much time making?

Anyway, it's just a shame that it's a SHW, if it was a HW it would really own.

General Support / Snapper reseting
« on: November 22, 2010, 02:19:04 PM »
O.k, so there may be a perfectly reasonable explanation for this and a perfictly easy fix, but why do my snappers keep messing up now when I go out of the botlab?
I spent ages making this bot and doing the loading things so that the motors intersected each other and were rotated so they were even and inside my bot fine, I test the bot, realise that it's actually not too unstable (yay) and then go back in my botlab to see that the motors are at weird angles and not aligned anymore.

Sorry if it sounds like i'm ranting, I spent a surprising amount of time tweaking this bot and had high hopes for it, so i'm going to be a little bit mad if I can't get it working properly...

A...juggler/flipper/wammer hybrid, plus strafing ? How much more ridiculously overblown can you get ?
Much more
An everything hybrid!!!
Anyway, I love the second bot, it looks cool and, even if it doesn;t, it looks like it's rather deadly

Side razors were for side protection before I rearanged the wedges (on TFF1 they were rotated the other way), I had little else to use up the weight so I kept them there.
Sadly It has to be that tall for the JX burst motors, although when I rebuild it I'll try and put the back parts where the sheels ar on a slant (aswell as make then generally smaller).
And the armour's plastic 3.

6 ants is unnecessary
Also, I only see 4. Are they stacked?
Must be, it certainly looks like that.
You can't stack batteries in DSL enigma, it's against the realism.
