It's not just the spinners you gotta worry about, if people do turn up. Some of the FW axes are vicious.

What's the ground clearance on that? You don't wanna get stuck every 5 seconds.
Ground clearance with the wedge on is practically zero.
Without the wedge it depends. The two paddles at the front are raised higher than the base of the chassis.
As long as you have a decent gc at the back, iirc you'll be fine. though you'll get stuck on the chain.
Driving it around the workshop today I always drive it backwards so the chain trails behind me so I can whip it out and round (hohoho) to attack. It will drive over the chain if it goes forward but it is just as easy to get off (tee hee) if I drive it backwards again.

   So I got the cradle made in about 20 minutes today, it's only an MDF base and pine (probably) for the handles. I'm taking it back to school on Tuesday so reinforce it before the MDF gives way. Also after a few spin ups and broken links I have got the flail weapon done.
