My ho left me.
If she was still being my pet like usual, then I would threaten it as punishment.

#tankslapper4naryar

You'd be pretty pissed too if you were getting used as a flail.

Please stop.
Unless your talking to dezox.
I'm talking to all of you that keep posting in this thread. (With the exception of Resetti who actually challenges himself and puts the effort in, and maybe Tommy too, because he can do outlandish requests.)

A box with a skin that barely resembles the paintwork is not a replica, neither is another, slightly differently shaped box with one spike in it. A replica by definition is:
"...an exact copy or reproduction..."
This can hardly be attributed to some of the recent robots that have been posted.

The newest robot posted - Sir Chromalot - isn't really a Sir Chromalot replica. It's more of an "Inspired by Sir Chomalot" or a "Eau de Sir Chromalot" or "If you squint it looks like Sir Chromalot" robot.

Don't feel disheartened and by no means stop building your versions of these robots, but please, if you are going to post it in this thread as a replica, make it LOOK AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE REAL LIFE COUNTERPART before you post.

I used to get excited when this thread had some new replies. Now its just crap.

Not a personal dig at Jaydee, but King Buxton is just a box. Nothing interesting. Have a go at the detail on top for the skin at least.

let's make this more fun:

choose 4 other people on GTM to be in your group
Helloface for a zombie snack.
I'm 5'11, 130 pounds. I wouldn't be a very good snack.

I'd bring Jonzu because he could BLOOP all the zombies to death
ew
First thing Jonzu won't screw.

First picture taken 17th June 2012, second picure taken 27th May 2014.

So after the untimely demise of Stratos (rimp in pieces) almost two years ago I decided that it was finally time to get something done. Taken the chassis completely to bits so I can draw up some CAD models which hopefully can be produced elsewhere. Also I need to try and find a place to buy a new Sabretooth V1.03 circuit board to replace my old broken one.

Ka-Pow?

it'd be the most irl bot you've ever built :V
Nary could mess up a chassis wedge.

I think there was a thread somewhere, where you post your bot/bots you've built and you get the roboteer title.
I think that thread was deleted.

wait what? when did you buy any robot stuff playzooki?
2013 - battle antz kit, took it to doncaster
2014 - parts for jaguar (posted cad on arc), not finished, going to barnsley.

I also plan on making a low budget featherweight.
Dude, I've got two proper featherweight robots and I'm not brown named. I would be if they weren't kits. I plan on making a few featherweights too, but it doesn't mean I've built them.

EDIT:
i also used parts not from the kit
None of the weapons that are on Tankslapper came with it either. Making a wedge and a spike doesn't mean I can make a robot, just a pointy thing and a scoopy thing.

LW: IBHEY or Sliced? Either way I'm screwed.

MW: I have far far superior reach here. Should win.

HW: Death Cloudis has a big tasty exposed chassis. Yum.

SHW: Having fourteen wheels counts for squat. Goodbye chances.
