In all fairness, he's right, that one kinda slipped out due to being the most usable stereotype.
No worries, everyone has moments like that. The rest of it was more or less alright, so I've fixed it for you. Sounds like a pack of whiny kids to me looking for opportunities to make themselves seem superior.

Did you watch them?
No. And, to be honest, I don't care. They could Spielberg-level SFX wizards, they could backyard time-killers. Some people like them, some people don't. If you don't like something, then don't try to force other people into not liking it. That's fascism. Just accept that people have different opinions to yours, accept that everybody doesn't like everything, and enjoy your pointless, insignificant <expletive>ing life.
So if you don't like something, and have informed reasoning behind why you don't like it (other than it's just, not my cup of coffee) you're not allowed to express your opinion without being a fascist?
No, that's not what I'm saying at all. If you have reason behind your opinion, then that's fine. Being able to have a reasoned debate and discussion about the subject is also fine. Humiliating, threatening and abusing others purely on the basis that they disagree with you is not alright in the slightest sense. I might have been a bit riled up when I said it was fascism, I withdraw that remark. However, I still maintain that you should NOT attack an individual, or a group of people, simply because you happen not to like what it is they're doing.

I don't see that.
They are simply trying to rid youtube/DA of the crap.
What is good and what isn't good is purely a subjective matter. I like MLP:FiM, but we all know there are plenty of people who would rather it was cancelled and never brought back. I believe Fred to be the worst thing Youtube has ever produced, and there are a good deal of others who would disagree. This group of imbeciles aren't anything like arbiters of all things internet, they are just whiny little kids. If they don't like something, then that's fine. If they try to force other people to like what they like, and act how they want, then that is most definitely not.

Like I said, JOIN METOKUR.
They hate anime and pretty much want all weaboos dead, along with furries.
I thought it was the literal <expletive> hole of the universe.
No, they just love to piss people off. http://www.metokur.org/
Take FFF, they pick apart bad youtube videos and make fun of them. Not that much like MST3K, as they are basically saying "you suck at filmmaking".
Here's a comment from DCQC (where they pick apart bad DeviantArt "artists") that sums up their idealology:
Warning: Harsh language (F-Bombs)
Sounds like a pack of whiny fat kids to me looking for opportunities to make themselves seem superior.
Sounds exactly the same to me. I hadn't heard of them until about ten minutes ago, but I wouldn't be too bothered if they all contracted malaria.

Repeat after me, 027-
In my opinion, anime sucks.
That is the key phrase. Look at it until it sinks in to your mind, 027.
Whilst that is a very important point, I'm not certain that would soften the blow enough. "ANIME IS ****. ALL YOU RETARDED FURFAGS CAN BURN IN HELL. IN MY OPINION."

Doesn't look too bad. I might try having the disc further back, and a wheel at each corner. That'd probably help with the wedge a little bit, as well as with stability and turning circle. As I've said, though, IRL Building + Metal Hinge Wedges = Poor show. You could probably attempt a skirt hinge, I think that should work reasonably well for IRL building, but you don't see wedges like Metal Hinge ones on real bots for offense. Only for defense on the sides, such as Panic Attack. If it was on the front, it would dig into the ground, and screw up your mobility.

Do you people have ANY real-life friends AT ALL?
Plenty. And I would bring something to this discussion, but everything I want to say about you has already been succinctly summed up by madman, GF93 and TRiaS. Don't dish it out if you can't take it, and do NOT force your opinions on other people.

lawl just learned today my grandma got herself banned from yahoo.
So was she just bawwing about good old times and how kids are so disrespectful today, and other cliché old people griefs ?
Oh no, she was basically making a ton of jokes instead of awnsering proper questions and annoying people. The warning built up. It happened a year ago.
Pity that they don't actually ban the ones who need banning, then. Like those people who post the dating site scams- "BEAUTIFUL AND MATURE" my arse.
A) Beauty is subjective. I think they look like sluts. B) If they were mature, they wouldn't be dressing like they do and frequenting dating sites.

It will garner some response from the slightly more serious bronies, I imagine. Just a quick heads up if that's the road you decide to go down. =)
It is a good show, though, once you get over the fact that they're ponies.

I do like the mechanics and aesthetics of them, personally, rather than the KILLKILLKILL destruction aspect of them. I actually think the first two UK Series were better than the next five, despite the relatively crap machines.
I personally think that doesn't make sense. It's called "Robot Wars" for a reason.
*Protoman Whistle* I believe he's referring to the appeal in how they could be adapted for tasks other than simply fighting- you know, like obstacle courses or football, for instance.
That's more or less what I'm getting to. If you put Typhoon 2 in an Assault Course or Sumo match, it would fail miserably.

If you removed the eight DS teeth and added four Large Beater bars, that would be more IRL realistic, and it would be the same weight.

damn. I'm really sorry gk, you had the better bot, i just got extremely lucky.
Did I watch it wrong? I thought I won? No, you did win. It was quite close, though, he had you on the ropes on a couple of occasions.

This style of VS probably does need 4WD. Good work with the axle loading, though. I would attempt to tighten up the chassis, though, and I'm not entirely sure 16 Irons would be enough. If the wedges are good enough, then you may be able to get away with it if the underside isn't terribly protected.

I think too many weapon components. You rarely see a powerful spinner with 8 large weapons, it's normally two or three.

It is quite a small community, though, in the grand scheme of things. If we have a guess that there around 500 million children aged 8 and under in the developed world (probably wrong, but I don't know where to get the statistics), then 9 out of 1000 equates to 4.5 million. Out of that, 11 is still not that much. So there's every chance there's a greater concentration of people with some form of Autism on the forums simply through luck. =)

Why do you need such a vast quantity of golf clubs, Scrap?
