o hai thar

All of the burst motors can flip opponents. It's just that some motors are better used in certain weight classes. A single BSG when used on LWs and MWs work wonders when paired with another weapon system. Pure flippers usually have 2 BSGs on a LW, 2 small/large JXs on MWs, and a beta on HWs. Using a single BSG on a HW will get you nowhere. Also, make sure your motors are adequately powered to ensure full flipping force, otherwise the weight spent to get that motor is wasted. :D

As for the Havok-y beta, you're probably using a geared beta. Use the other version since that one's more reliable.

I have DiRT 2 for Wii. And It really sucks. Here's a proof.
*vid*

And this is why you shouldn't play simulators on Wii. Wii's mostly for arcade-ish games. PR's right, gaming experience also varies between consoles.

From the looks of it, it requires a wall to self-right. But it's invertible, and that's what's important.

I tried one before and it's too bouncy. >.<

The only way I could make the original DP very wedgy is through a MCB wedge. The SWARC DP isn't as wedgy, but that motor is freakishly powerful. I think I'll go for the SWARC one. XD

I don't even know what you're entering. If I replicate the one in the RCHoF, I'll have to revert to using a MCB wedge. If I use the one in SWARC, I'll have to use a cheaty motor. >.<

The plow setup's fine (making it wider would mean an exposed front). What he needs to do its to extend the weapon arm.

The hammer could use a cleaner weapon setup (make the arm longer and concentrate your weapons on the end) and a wedge, otherwise not bad.

As for the side hammer, the bursts are overkill (stick to 2 BSGs as they still pack quite a punch) and use a frontal weapon like I said before (a well-built VS, poker or even a rammer can take it out in seconds). A wedge might work as well, but it's not necessary.

FBS_2, with the 2 Hammer4s and the bar in the weapons entry. It switches to Shove once the SnS weapons are gone. In theory, that should work. But that was a rush job, so I didn't have time to test it. XD

Too lazy to build more bots, so here's a relatively old one:

My entry for NAR Wars. It was a rush job, so I forgot the armor (3mm plastic I think). And I just realized this looks like SD's T-Wrex-ish bot, but its strategy is different - SnS, then it switches to Shove when the bar is gone.

There was a car that pulled into the university car park today with the number plate 123 STW.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Nearly the same thing happened to me, but the plate was 321 TWS. SO CLOSE >:E

Weak armor is fine as long as he's sure most bots can't touch it. That chassis seems to be at a safe distance from most weapon systems.

Side hammers work best with a frontal weapon rack to maintain steady damage.

Regular hammers require a very stable stance (which is why hammers tend to be long and wide) and strong frontal armor (like a heavy plow or 2 medium plows).

I wouldn't be surprised that Bullet Ant 5 can KO it since its razors have more kinetic energy than PC5. But PC5 KOed it though Pillbox's drive! At least BA5 took the bars off before dealing a OHKO.

Also...

That was close. The middle sledge took most of the damage but was able to deweapon it in time. :D
