Yeah I didn't think about how the bot would need to fully deweaponed before the plows would break so a downgrade would help a lot weight wise. Also if its flipped it kinda hobbles around on the weapons if it gets high centered on them so it won't get counted out unless the hammers and tribars are ripped off

I really like how you redid nibbl3r. If you skin the front and rear wheels to look sorta similar it would be spot on

Spike strips don't get under stuff as well as wedgelets do. Also you can use 45 deg bits to cover up those piglets

Instead of using an overkill wedge and plow id recommend using the IRL panel wedges, they look better and will save a lot of weight. Also you can use that extra weight to add some wheelguards

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Black Rain V4« on: May 04, 2020, 06:02:04 PM »there's a few other dark themes besides black rain v3 that you can select. they aren't as well polished as the forum default imo, but they aren't unusable if that's what you're into Ik, thats why I made this thread because all the dark themes bug out with certain parts of the site. Black rain was just the most used/functional out of all the options so thats why I said V4

we need black rain V4 because V3 looks like dogsh** and I hate staring at a white screen
this is the only way we can save GTM from its inevitable doom 353

DSL TC Showcases / Re: 8bean's DSL Showcase!« on: May 02, 2020, 05:38:03 PM »my OCD is absolutely annoyed that the tracks aren't the round ones cause the angled ones bug me for a design like this.I actually tried the round tracks for this as I do agree they would look a lot better and also work correctly upside down. Unfortunately the curved ends are just barely too tall and cause the back wheels to not touch the ground. 355
DSL TC Showcases / Re: 8bean's DSL Showcase!« on: May 02, 2020, 02:38:34 AM »The bot actually didn't intend to be this but an extender got stuck in both piglets making it impossible to remove them and I didn't feel like totally rebuilding the body so I just decided to build around it. It drives properly upright but when its flipped it gets janky because of the way the treads are angled. Also the whole thing is steel with only a few top panels being ti even though there are both treads and a ton of saws

The new npcs would make it so that those rings dont poke out the top of the chassis. Also, pirelli wheels are a cleaner version of the hypno wheels i'd highly recommend checking out. Other than that looks pretty solid.

These bots look really nice, especially on the skins. Are you using Ironforge for this btw or do you just have the components in your game?
