This is a good idea, d-lark. Yes, it is possible.
I might even try it in NAR AI v2.3 if i am not lazy :P
EDIT: About the multi-extender other AP, it is doable but might slightly change a number of bots (not mine though).
Good point, Nar. But if you leave the current APs and their numbers in the gmf, and make the number of the additional AP higher (consecutively), then it will not affect any older/pre-built bots that use the flipper (geomobject). So if it has 2 APs ('1', '2'), then make the new AP '3'. Then when the comp reads an 'already built' bot file, it will assemble the bot as before, with no change. But 'new bots' will have the extra AP option.

"Bottoms Up!"
How could this happen?
1. One caption quoted the person saying that "It was caused by slipping in the bathtub". 2. The second purported the person to have said that "Some burglars broke into my house and did this to me." >NVM. Don't ask. Don't tell.<

No, the numbers that pop up whenever GBH hits Terrorhurtz. A bot doesn't back out when the opponent is being counted out unless that bot is being counted out as well.
True about the numbers, but one could AI a bot to 'do things' when the opponent is getting counted out. Zog, if a bindings line is mess up, you couldn't have run that match (or even the game) at all...(sauf en utilisant '#'). So be careful and responsible, please. If you need help just ask. Now that people are AI-ing their own bots, I'd say at least half of the members here could help you out. I also might suggest that you use 'Python' when moding these files, since it has cool features.

:3 I is also teh poor an it is teh easy way to have moar bots
Buy dollar store fan motors, or go to the local Goodwill and buy up old RC cars. Learning to shop thrifty is a good skill to acquire. (Especially when you're a broke ass dude in your early 20s.)
Agreed. I remember my lowest point in college was when I had exhausted my savings account and had to resort to cleaning my car for loose change to afford a few packets of Ramen noodles. From that day forward I knew that I could survive on ramen no matter how poor I eventually got in life. ^^
Yep, JD... more than once, even. Or a bean burrito at Taco Bell.

Avalanche you post any crap like that in here again and I will Ban you from entering any of my tournaments, others tournaments (I have many friends) and ban you from ever making another tournament
AI your own damn robot or shut up
Joe, I didn't see it. Did you delete it Joe? I understand the context of you having to 'redo' some bouts due to your own error, NP. But what was his response? Avalanche, for objectivity,.... if the roles were reversed (your bot had the error), would you respond the same way? ----------------- Nar is speaking the unfortunate facts plainly. But, LRA2 is in the hands of ACAMS... and it's his call.

Vid name: "Robot Arena - 3 second kill"
Jon, I surmise that the '3' is associated with the 'second kill', not the 'Robot Arena' part of the title. If you watch the vid.... ----------- I'll probably catch you on MSN, Serge.

Lots of thoughts here....
Is that a 'trial' version of IDA(pro), Serge?

It is raining here in Texas, and is supposed to rain tomorrow too.
You started a bad trend here....and led many astray. The "Revenge of the Noobs" club reported you, so action must be taken. Oh BTW, my cat had babies, ... and they're all cats.

I get the more recent date too, but I still agree with the 'diapers' assessment.

I looked through them. Always fun to watch. Also appreciated the organization of your work, with the links, commentary, bracket work...and running the toruney. Very nice work. Thanks.

This is a great idea, Craaig. If you run into a snag, just call out... No predictions from me, currently.

Heat 2 has officially started :D
oh how you arena haters are going to love this one :P [/sarcasm]
Hehe... Oh well. Having not seen the walls for a while, I'm more objective and can honestly say that they look nice, and I like how they're working, too.

BOT, please! -------- TROV GLITCH LUURRRRVVVVVVV <3
...... Come to think of it, I haven't been able to replicate Donut bot's chassis yet. XD
Though some cool and unique designs are made possible via the Trov Glitch, I wouldn't know how to do the 'donut chassis' using it. BFE required. To my knowledge, there are three ways of making donut shaped chassis using my glitch. When I originally posted the glitch, I challenged people to try to figure out how to make a donut chassis (and Firebeetle posted two that I hadn't known about prior to posting the question). I still have Firebeetle's post explaining how to do it in a word document but I'm too lazy to upload the pictures; not to mention, I want to see if anyone else can figure it out.
A genuine cube 'donut chassis' with the TG? This is interesting Trov. I'm waiting to hear how...

Thanks for the votes guys..... Yet, to set things straight, there's a lot of info and idea sharing 'behind the scenes' between Trov, Click and me. In fact Trov had put more techy work into the last couple arenas than me, and CB is always sharing stuff, while also hacking away at DSL-3. Just a gander at the rest of the iceberg (facts).
And, ACAMS work on this site should also be considered...

Though some cool and unique designs are made possible via the Trov Glitch, I wouldn't know how to do the 'donut chassis' using it. BFE required. #6 is aesthetic. #7 would be cool and innovative if it could really work as presented (vid?). I vote for #5 for construction and apparent effectiveness.

" bumpage",... hehe. Nice term, Joe. I'll adopt it and put it into good usage.

SB, I think your idea good, mainly because of the noted 'off-set'. Sometimes motors sit too high on the chassis base for the desired weapons to be effective(near the floor). DSL Discs and Bars are FLAT, which is bad if you need the weapon to scretch down at an angle to guard the motor. DSL discs are also vulnerable to things like VSs because the spinners catch the disc (unguarded by only the four spinning spikes) and get snapped off, damaged, or at the very least flip up the bot and unbalance it.
Its called a angled shell extender,Dumbass.
LRA2, you need to settle down, or I will 'artificially impose chaos' upon you. Both you and Sparkbutt, need to stop your 'hard-guy' performances. If you two refuse to control yourselves and persist, then a 'leash' will need to be put on the dog(s) (unfortunate, but necessary)...and it will be a heavy, short chain.

TX, nobody's against you here. Usually 'threads like this' are shut down immediately.... though yours was not. You need, like everyone else, to follow protocol set in place by experience, which makes things run smoother for all involved, including the tourney host. Many here will go out of their way to help you, including me. Your desire and efforts to do this are appreciated, just receive some 'tried and tested' input so that things can work out for the better. And if you need help/input, just ask, NP.
