I have a feeling this is more Standard than IRL...
It's on the borderline. However, it would be a very cool standard bot if it were more efficient and an interesting IRL bot if it were more realistic.

Nah, a spike will do fine, Kossy. 
I'm not Roboteer grouped because I don't think robots that were bought or kits count. It's highly unlikely that I'll become Roboteer grouped after this because the only things I'm doing are putting all the bits together (might have to create the circuitry from a bag of bits) and making weapons.

In other news, I made a rocket sled.
It's basically a flier with no flying. It has a self righting system and a gravity system (because it bounces around like a mofo)
Best bot type ever.
also gravity system ? you mean hoverpads ? Only scrubs use them on rocket sleds, get rid of it and just steer madly around and do full turns while charging the enemy and climb up mountains/ use them as launch ramps.
It's pretty difficult to control, but very amazing.
No. Not hoverpads. The self-righting system and gravity system are actually the same thing.. a quartet of rockets placed at corners of the sled that all face downward. Using this, I can descend something without being flipped and utterly screwed, and if I am flipped and utterly screwed, I can fire the same rockets to right myself.

What happened?
Trying to install the RSRBR14 mod to Richard Burns Rally. Avast deleted it and said it's a virus. I told Avast to f*** off and deleted that sh**ty program. Then I had to download the damn installation program again, which was about 446 Megabits and took a while to load.
now I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials.
Well that's a crap choice. I could stick my trojan magnum laden dick into my computer and **** it without MSE noticing. That being said, Avast isn't too terrible. Get Malwarebytes if you're looking for anti-virus, and I think Mcafee saved me a couple of times.
