Yeah, bassicly i had a lot of free weight, and 3 burst version was weak. Barely self-righted.

3 bursts are weak? You're not ****ing doing it right. Honestly the only excuse for using 3 bursts in the first place (and it's a sh** one) is if the swing arc is small and the bursts are small so there is a wide flipper system that has some power but isn't stupidly powerful. But 5 bursts is plain unrealistic.

I have been doing Hard Drive searches of bots that I worked on and that were sent to me for possible addition to the Starcore Pack in 2007/2008. I have brought them into 3 Botlab folders along with the bots that are currently in Starcore v4 Alpha2 for an Alpha3 release and review. This will allow testers and reviewers to be able to more conveniently review them in the Botlab.
I am currently Aing various updates that are definite improvements and will try to get that done over the next number of work nights. I will try to have an Alpha3 for people to test and review as early as this weekend (or sometime in 2017  ).
Anyone interested in being a pack tester or should I just release it to the public for review and commentary? (Items may be broken or still in need of tweaking, that is the nature of Alpha releases).

TGM, the Starcore AI packs are legendary Stock AI packs, which have never not been Stock. To change it to something like Ironforge IRL is not a good idea: Starcore will (though a DSL-S pack for DSL 2.2 AS-Rebalanced would be neat imo Starcore will be Stock, and there is definitely an audience for it) always be Unrealistic Stock. While your suggestion is not invalid or worthless, if you want a AI pack like that you'll have to make it yourself. Also, I think DSL 2.2 has more in the way of components for building IRL.
The DSL-S talk in the beggining of the topic threw me off rails..

I don't know. Ironforge is pretty well balanced, outside of flippers being issues (but a single Beta is perfectly reasonable for a flipper), so it would be good for competitive, fight capable IRL, but it wouldn't be good for colourful, vibrant IRL designs, which is where DSL and the DSC IRL packs excel. Plus with AS's rebalance, DSL 2.2 isn't unbalanced. Honestly making a DSL-S pack would be the best thing right now, because there isn't any DSL 2.2 DSL-S (With or without AS-Rebalance) packs out currently.

Nope. That team, Team Outlaw (Previously called Team Velocirippa and Team Mouse), entered Ironside 3 into Series 8, and in Series 9 gave that robot to Team Tilly, which competed under the name Team Mouse. Also the team that is the answer never received any word, where as everyone else (according to the wiki, at least) did. Also he's probably referring to Mouse, the Robogames 2017 entrant built by The Schmidt Family, which includes Asbestosstar. Also the only 4 people allowed to answer the question are F1Krazy, Kurt, Guldenflame and Jamied666.

Note that you are only allowed to ask a question if you correctly answered the previous question.
Now. Mastiff, Rawbot and Flensburger Power are all legitimate answers. I was thinking of Rawbot, because it's qualifier with Zeus was cancelled, and it lost in the European championship. Flensburger Power and Mastiff are both correct, but I hadn't thought of those.
Razer is technically incorrect, because it beat Backstabber, Techno-Lease, Prometheus (by Default, if I remember correctly) and Diotoir. Then again, all those fights happened in the same series, so u'll just give the answer the benefit of the doubt.
Killerhurtz is technically incorrect, because it got through the trial and gauntlet. But that's highly pedantic (and not a fight persay) so I'll give it a pass.
If I had specified Qualifier, the question would have been too easy, but it did **** up the formatting allowing for multiple answers.
As Kurt said two of the correct answers simultaneously, he had more correct answers than Jamie. However, Jamie got a correct answer before Kurt did. Gulden also gave a pretty much correct answer, as the matchups for the First World Championships were most likely decided before Razer beat anyone.
EDIT: F1Krazy also got one right. Bollocks. He's also in the Tiebreaker.
As they both all have claims to the next question, here is a tiebreaker. The first person out of the two to get it right (and include the next question they would like to ask in their answer) wins.
The question is: Which is the only team that applied to Series 8 of Robot Wars to be rejected without receiving a call informing them of their unsuccessful application?

Alright, so in one of the discords I use, we were playing a game, and i figured it could work here also. So here goes:
Somebody asks a question that has a robot (we did it with robot wars robots, but RA2/Battlebots works too) as the answer. For example, "This robot was immobilised by a opponent before the match actually started" could be the question, and the answer would be Flippa, after not making it to the arena when Ewe 2's driver tried to brush aside it's aerial just before the match started and the aerial came off. Whoever got the answer would then say their own question, and everyone would guess the answer.
Note that if you want to branch out from just "this robot did X, what is it" questions, I don't mind, but PM me first so we can see if it will work.
I'll start with the first question: This robot is the only robot in Robot Wars that was given a free pass into the world championships without winning a battle prior.
