Does anybody know the trick to enable this camera? I have tried to get this working for quite some time now... with no result :(

SOLUTION: Using the JPEARCE cheat worked like a charm! Now I plan to mod the game even further ^^

How do you put the files back into lumpy.dat?
Using QuickBMS. You HAVE to reimport the house robots .rob files. Changing the "houserobot" value from 1 to 0, then you can buy them in the Robot Workshop. Oh, and the .rob files NEEDS to be in a folder called "robots" without the quotation marks, of course. I'm open for help :smile:

Yes... I'm not dead... two years, I know! It's crazy! But I my interests changes quite a lot, sadly... :(

But I would need plans for them, but I have already as I write this started and are now going to continue my project of Matilda :)

Or maybe I could rip out the .rob files, when selling the house robots in-game, and upload the encoded .rob files to my SkyDrive No Problem at all :smile:

Sure, the lumpy.dat file, I can upload it here, and then make a backup of it, and put this lumpy.dat in there. NOTE: You HAVE to reimport the game archive (lumpy.dat) to get it to work, it does NOT work by just placing the edited files in the game folder. Also, the lumpy.dat file is quite big, but it is possible for me to upload it somewhere where possible, SkyDrive (soon called OneDrive) would work :)

With all thanks to QuickBMS, I successfully enabled the house robots in Arenas of Destruction. Here, playing as Dead Metal and Matilda and fooling around in the arena :P

Yeah, maybe I should fire up old and dusty 3ds Max, and give it a try! Major Damage is after all one hefty robot! I do like him to bits, but I would need some sort of plans to recreate him? Or maybe I should try recreating him without plans?

Don't really know if anybody has come up with this idea, but I recently got an idea, to bring the "new" house robot from Roaming Robots into Robot Arena 2: Design & Destroy? Has this been done? If so, where can I get this brother to Mr. Psycho and Sir Killalot? :smile:

theres a script for quickbms to be able to crack open ed's and aod's files and i tried to copypaste sir k's bot file into the aod version of the robot designs folder but its set up differently so that doesnt work, and im not too sure on how to convert it into a usable format, im not even sure if it could be done
That's the spirit :), just don't give up, and together we will find a way to mod Robot Wars Arenas of Destruction!

Cant use them on AoD... but you can with a cheat in Extreme Destruction..
Yes. Fabletmeplayasahouserobot, I know. But there would be a possible way of doing it in AOD as well, by modding the game archive, and repacking it again.
