I have decided that if I don't receive a 6th bot from those who entered ARBBC I will fill the 6th bot spot with one of my fleaweights to give my teams fleaweight something to fight against (not that it couldn't challenge some of the AW's).

100kgs or less, some can even beat AW's .

It's basically picking an item or something and going from weak to strong with different names all based on that type of object. I don't see how any noobs are going to build a bot like Cheap Norris so there's no need for a pic.

Yay! finally got 16 different FlW's (Fleaweights), all have 1 pink and plastic unless stated otherwise. The difference between 10 and 16 is 10 has razors angled down and 16 has them pointed directly out. 7, 8 and 11 are SnS. 3 and 9 have caster armour.

using someone elses chassis (even an aw template) is stealing someone else's work though.
Unless they hand it out like I did honestly I'm quite stocked someone else would want to use my chassis and I don't mind it as long as they come up with unique designs. It seems like this all comes down to one question, what do you prefer? 1. Quality and Quantity. 2. Hard work. This is a game so I prefer option 1 plus I was and still am planning to build more chassis templates for other weight classes. These chassis templates won't help people build uber-bots (unless it's like a 36HS template), like Trov said most HW's need their own custom chassis for maximum effectiveness so does chassis sharing really hurt that much?

Just make sure they all use the same theme and the evolutions seem Pokemon-esque. Don't just name them MiDF LW, MiDF MW, MiDF HW or anything like that.

I don't plan on releasing the pack until all 21 teams have 6 bots.
what will happen if you dont get one extra bot from everybody though? i take it you wont just wait until the end of time until [whoever] sends that last bot you need?
Considering I only need one bot from each person who entered and they don't even need to make a new bot for that spot I would be very disappointed to not fill the teams and will just leave their spot open for any future updates.

I sooooo want to build for this ugh why do i suck
You could always make an Evo-bot for one of the bots you already have like stratocaster or MPGW.

I actually have various "battery box" chassis for Stock and DSL2. But I find that in heavier weight class, most bots require specialized chassis anyway.
Besides anyone can download an AI pack and steal a chassis if they really needed to, so I don't really see any harm in having them in BotExchange.
I have noticed this and been guilty of doing it myself with an AW chassis which is why I created this topic, to see how people feel about it.

Out of curiosity, Venko, can that bot clear pits? Wait, no, silly question- You AI your bots to test them.
Actually he never really AI's his bots.

Yes, I'm accepting teams from other members too.

So as some of you know I have uploaded my AW chassis for all to use freely to build there own AW's etc. but how do people feel about stripping other peoples bots and using the chassis to build another bot? Should this be allowed? would it be frowned upon?
Having pre-made air-tight chassis for each weight class would make bot building a lot stressful for some and might even increase the number of entries in tournaments and number of new bots shown in showcases. I have noticed some using H.A.N.N.A.H's chassis and don't mind at all, how would you feel if someone used the chassis of one of your bots?
Perhaps a chassis part in the bot exchange could be a good thing?

Bye-bots are just there to give the person a free match where they have no chance of not progressing through to the next round. I didn't have any bye-bots(bye-teams in this instance) in ARBBC so the people who would have faced them just went straight through to round 2.
