That was just luck; if Watson had known where the DD was, it would have waited until it had more than $1000 to risk. Besides, the Daily Double is statistically most likely to be in one of the 800 or 1000 slots.

Anyone following tech news will know that today was the debut of Watson the Jeopardy-playing computer. Did anyone else watch? And are you rooting for the humans or the machine? I was quite impressed with Watson's strategy, fishing for the Daily Double, and then playing defensive once it took the lead (ie, picking low-scoring clues only. It seems like Watson had a real advantage in terms of reflexes; former J! champs have emphasized how important it was to be quick on the buzzer. Still I suspect that next round's questions will be more cryptic and the scales will tip towards human intuition.

Whoa that is a fail paintjob... no offense meant.
It's an all-decal paintjob. Ah, that takes me back.

I've done my decision. I won't redo Any battles, but I'm going to make special event for the 1st round eliminated rammers. I will also download the small arena fix.
You better redo those battles, or I quit, and anyone else who thinks this is wrong should, too!
Good. Makes it all the more easy for me to win. Oh wait, you lost. Never mind. I've done my decision. I won't redo Any battles, but I'm going to make special event for the 1st round eliminated rammers. I will also download the small arena fix.
Makes me ahshamed that I was going good untill havok.
Ok let's get one thing clear, your only chance of winning was via under the radar. Anorak can't KO, and can't score points. I assume that when you say "going good" you meant "surviving" because it looked like you had the fewest points, and the bot with the second-fewest was roughly 2500 ahead of you.

The difference is that one of them focuses on the problem, and the other on the solution.

I'm not sure I understand the problem being addressed here. What's wrong with the music, and what exactly is aesthetically unpleasing about the UI?

You've got ally armour, you could downgrade to plastic. There's no shame in that; mine is plastic too.

Can someone explain to me how exactly the autocorrect function works? How on earth do you get "Pittsburgh" from meaning to type "out"?

What happens in the next round? Do you shuffle the brackets, or do the two that qualified together stay together?

@ "How it's done" Hang on a sec, ducks aren't a protected species. Why would you have to "deal with it," the car in front can floor the accelerator without any legal consequences.

It was ok'd because they needed the frame to counterbalance their big spinning blade

I don't think it's fair to tar all Wii games like that. The motion controls are hard for designers to work with, and cross-console games usually suffer, I'll grant you.
But at the same time, there are plenty of devs who know what they're doing, and are able to make a truly great game without over-dependence on the motion sensitivity.
You've got to be shrewd, and know the difference between a game that's primarily game, and a game that's primarily a gimmick-exploiter of the Wii's motion controls

Here's another "worst". Guess what this is an advertisement for: Would you have guessed this? Racy banner ads for crappy MMO's need to stop.

Best: -Storylines written by professional writers -The Platformer & Adventure genres - Bright Colours (brown & grey palates suck) - Shoutouts to retro games
Worst -Movie-based games -Casual Games -Unnecessary overuse of the Wiimote -Repackaging the same game (I'm looking at you, Animal Crossing) - Mr. Resetti (Not a trend yet; pray to C'thulu it stays that way) -Unskippable Cutscenes

My suggestion would be to set an expiration date for S_M and Scorpion's reserves. It's been 2 months since signups started, which have included Christmas vacation, that's plenty of time.
Perhaps in the future, seeded members should only get extended reserves, not permanent ones.
