Presumably it's jsut so they can tell them "Oh, no, bullying doesn't happen in this school". Which is just an out-and-out lie. They're bound to find out sooner or later.

So many DSL bots that have been slightly IRL'd...
I'm afraid I have to agree. And my MW has been drawn against one of them. Though the LW bracket doesn't seem to have quite so many "IRL" bots, which is good. Looks like we're squaring off in the LW bracket, though. =) Good luck to you, it should be a pretty good match.

Scrap bumped a bunch of people out when he apparently sent his entries earlier than other people had.

Erm...no, that's not the LW I entered. I entered a different robot with the same name, it's in my showcase.

Presumably you have to be something like 13 to sign up. A lot of forums have that to prevent immature, irrational, whiny kids signing up and turning the place into a heckhole.

I'm not sure a trapping setup would work too well with a spinner like this one, the opponent would simply get knocked away. Perhaps if you had them simply flat, that might work better. I'd be a little worried about the side panels being knocked off too, but it looks alright apart from that. How is it with self-righting?

Ah. Perhaps a poly sheet pointing forwards from the DSL Disc on top? Would also help protect the Dual Perm somewhat from hammers and the like. =)

I do like. How does it fare when it's inverted?

Wammer/Popup Hybrid?
I like it, but it depends if the wedges are any good, or if it suffers from Bounty Hunter Syndrome. I might try rotating the ramplates the other way, so they offer those vulnerable-looking extenders protectino of some kind. Internals?

FOTEPX mentioned that he wanted to hand his HW spot over to me, but I'd be happy if it were to move ahead as it is, personally. I don't want to drag it on much. =)

I was testing a flail SnS in the botlab. When i saw it spinning to fast i released the spin button and it trinity without any pistons (cant put the da.....n image in)
That just sounds like some kind of controlled Havok Bomb, in my view. A picture would help us figure out what was happening better than simply a description of the phenomena, though.

Apparently he sent his bots a while back. freeziez probably didn't catch them.

Should be excellent to watch. =D Will probably commit suicide on the spikes in any chance.

Fair enough. It was entered for the lols.
That said, it would be hilarious if it won. =D

It looks like it's got quite a narrow range of attack for the size of the robot. You could also call it Awesome Rotating Death Object Thing.

I was guessing IRL building too. It's a little bit like Hazard.

Doesn't look too bad. Might be a little bit fast for a spinner like that, though.

That's true, but the shot from the back looks a bit dull and empty.

Does look quite nice. Would look better once it's been skinned, though.
