I remember that guy. Oddly, I remember him being of no real significance. Unless there's something I'm not remembering.

Tournament Archives / Re: B4ttlebots - Signups« on: November 18, 2011, 08:24:16 PM »Wait what? Where did Masterath come from? Didn't I have the last LW spot? Explain please. 1) Scrap's entry isn't on the list anymore, so that's pretty much a moot point. 2) That doesn't make the slightest bit of sense. If the entries were arranged by date, and Badnik had the last spot, Scrap bumped him out, then dropped out himself, Badnik should still have the last spot. 3303

It should be me (with Infestation). Also, if you take a proper look through the Signups thread, FOTEPX dropped out of the Heavyweight bracket so I could take part in it, after Ounce bumped me out with his reserved spot. I can understand getting Watch Your Step! wrong, but putting my name in the splash to a robot I didn't even build... All things considered, this hasn't really gone too well, with regards to getting all the bots sorted and such. freeziez, please hold off from filming until you've got this <expletive> sorted out. 3305

I believe it was S_M. Looks quite nice, but I don't like how the chassis looks through the gaps in the back.

I'd be inclined to agree. SSX 3 was also pretty good, and it branched out a little more, but SSX Tricky seemed more fun, in my view.

Discussion / Re: new aw/bw motor« on: November 18, 2011, 03:59:28 PM »
That would be a custom component, and not really usable in DSL 2.0 competitions. Also, the Astroflight motor would probably be a decent choice for an Antweight or Beetlweight drive system. Though you could use any drive motor you wanted on a Beetleweight or Antweight, up to an NPC on a decent rammer.

But if you hear a knock on the door in the middle of the night, don't answer it. =DNah, I'm only really using it for this- first time I've watched the telly in ages. Hopefully they won't mind- it's not like they can use their TV Detector Vans to find me anywayWatching Children in Need on BBC iPlayer- who needs a telly licence? You do if you're gonna do that. 3317

I really like Howler myself. I can't help feeling that Exploders flipper panel bit could do with being a bit shorter, though.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: November 18, 2011, 05:55:31 AM »I'm always playing with MY bricks. :D I would say that first statement was incorrect, at least where I am. Normally the bullies go around in groups of three or more, purely to play the numbers game. If one of them starts to lose, the others usually jump in with a cheap shot or something. The bullies are normally more scared than the victims, at least in my experience. As for the second point, standing up to him has a chance of working, as does simply ignoring them and not allowing them to provoke you. The best method, I've found, is usually to go to a figure of authority. They usually manage to get something done. If they don't, then just avoid them as best you can. It's a crying shame when your teachers and such are in this state of blind ignorance to a problem, just for the sake of reputation or a paycheck. ^^ ...explain how. |
