I've got my bot built and I assume Ben does too. Is there anyone willing to film?

for something touted as "a throwback to the noob years" you don't have a lot of restrictions. Maybe add realistic rule; most of us subconciously followed it

I ran out of cardboard before I could make the disc. Also I ran out of paint so I just plastered it with Canadian flags. 3229

I don't think I've ever seen a thread locked faster than Joe's "Parody" thing. Already locked when I got on. Shame, it was a good idea and I had some ideas.

I think the question everyone's been meaning to ask is, how long until a "watch" expires?

Here's a trick I use to find the the edges without the unattractive edge lines showing up in the final product.
In the painting section of the bot lab, I paint each side of the bot a different colour so that I can tell them apart (don't use black, you can add it later if you need it), and then cover the entire chassis with dark edges (2 or 3 clicks) and export the skin. When I open the file, it looks like this (zoomed in 8x): The little squares in each corner will be noticeably darker (I've darkened them further on the green one for clarity). Those little squares represent the very edge of what will show up on the actual robot. You can connect them together to make one big rectangle and voila, you have the exactly right sized canvas to work with - the excess dark edge outside this rectangle will not show up on your bot. If you're working with a non-rectangular side, you'll have to mess around a little to figure out exactly where the bounds are, but the dark edges will get you pretty close. Anyways, just keep that for future ref. I'd be glad to take a look at Beast of Bodmin, if you don't mind handing over your baby. 3236

That might be kind of unwieldly. I think the simpler thing to do would be to just paint one eye closed and have Beast of Bodmin in a perpetual wink.
I'll condede, the shape GF used is better than the one on my replica's, but I would like to see the edge lines removed, and the blade replaced with a Canine so that it can be painted yellow. 3237

Hacker from "Cyberchase." Mock me all you want for choosing someone from a maths-based educational show, but that guy is undefeatable. He makes people underestimate him by being really bad at maths, and then pulls off some impressive Xanathos Gamibts. If anyone wants, I cna go through all the reasons why he'll eventully win.
Oh, and he's voiced by Christoper Lloyd; you know him as Doc from "Back to the Future" and Judge Doom from "Roger Rabbit." The voice actors for the good guys include Sierra and Leshawna from "Total Drama" and Gilbert Gottfried (Iago from Aladdin, the Aflac duck till recently). 3238

That is certainly an interesting way to make Arena Killer, and I gotta give you credit because it's one I never successfully built.
I hope that in the next release of DSL, one of Click's replicas has a semicircle wheelguard component. So many replicas could use that. 3239

It's an original composition. Roadblock has a square wedge, whereas Beast of Bodmin's tapers as it approaches the ground, that's why I didn't just build over my Roadblock replica.
