I believe the spikes may be to cause damage to wedges that get underneath it in some way. I also have a suspicion that they are attached to a piston.
That's what I believe. And Nar, incase you didn't notice the rammer has wheels rotated in on the inside, just like tribute. It's heavily armoured yes, but it's probably got a nice amount of speed for it.

Well hide is obviously supposed to be a rammer, perhaps AIed to ram the opponent into seek which, if you look carefully, has some spikes under the plow which is the secret weapon which click thought we might not see.
Now, what I can't quite put my finger on is what exactly those spikes do, I imagine they're meant to incapacitate the opponent in someway, perhaps they are on a burst piston and fire forward, or maybe they're on a burst motor, but I think that one's more unlikely.

Weird hybrids are never good in LW class. You don't have the weight to make both weapon systems competitive compared to pure-type robots.
Good point, though both bot types here don't really need to much weight focused on them, apart from maybe the power source problem.

Plus this forum is obviously quite lenient, and that's probably a better thing than if it was too harsh.

Yep, I agree Nar, I hate pointless rules myself with a passion. One thing that was hillarious, in last yers mocks the guy was reading out the rules (in case we didn't know them already!) and then randomly went off on a tangent about how mobile phones were a "bloomin menace" and how he didn't see the point of them  Have you noticed how all the "invigilators" seem to be really creepy people?

Scive! DP: What a fun mock that was...
Here's a fun fact. There are two exits out of our exam hall. I always get sat far away from the right door, the one they always use. Anyway, last proper GCSE test we did, I sat right next to the right door thinking yay, I don't have to waste my life sitting bored while the man SLOWLY let's out everybody row by row. Then what does he do, he let's everybody out of the left door
