Oh no... The 8th seed curse refers to a superstition formed amongst Robot Wars fans. In the four series that the seed number existed, the number eight seed never made the semi-finals, this being the only seed in the top 16 to suffer from this.
> Gemini lost in the heat final to Tornado in Series 4. > 3 Stegs to Heaven lost in the heat final to Bigger Brother in Series 5. > Panic Attack lost in the heat final to Terrorhurtz in Series 6. > Panic Attack lost in Round 2 to Tough As Nails in Series 7. Actually, should I not be 9-7? Freezerburn went 3-1, RPM went 2-2, SWARM was 0-1, and I went 4-3 in this one, did I not? I'd still be in the same spot afterwards, though.

GTM Racing?
I'll probably try and come up with some kind of paint scheme, if I decide to get it.

It's between Dismember and Fudgery. I would swap the Angle connectors for 20cm's, personally. But as an IRL bot, it looks alright. Could do with a slightly more planned skin, though.

In an AI tournament, ones that we run here on GTM, if your robot causes a havok bomb twice in a match, the chances are it will be disqualified. So havoking isn't really a good thing, you want your bots to be stable.

Pretty good. How are the wedges?

Ah, right. The episodes can be distinguished by the variances in guest hosts. Not necessarily in chronological order, though. Favourite guest panelist by far, in my view, is Reginald D Hunter. =D

Have I Got News For You for me. =D
Saw that one before, quite difficult to make out which episode is which.
There's the Angus era, then the Guest era. There's more comedians on more recent series, though, compared to older series. Plus Paul and Ian are more or less always fantastic.

A pyscolone Popup is basically a test of chassis space management. You need 2 HPZ's with Rubber Wheels, 2 Blackvolts, 3DDT's, a Small Wedge, 8 Razors and DSA armour. To get them all on, you need your chassis to be as airtight as possible around the components.

Stacking's not too difficult if you're patient with it. Shouldn't take much more than a minute or so to get 2 Blackvolts together, if that.
It's a decent build, though. Nothing too special, and generic as anything, as you said. But it's not bad. If the chassis was shrunk a little, you could get this to be a Pyscolone Popup with a slightly different weaponry extender setup.

Does look very nice. I take it that's how it looked in the US Wars? I don't remember it having those leaves in the Second World Championships.

Doesn't look too bad. How often do the skirts get taken off? Also, internals & armour please. =P

If I told you, I would probably receive some form of silencing. =P

I did. Before I acquired FRAPS. One of the only useful things I can remember Noodle doing.

Correct. I didn't even know I had one until I used it in RA2. But it is very helpful for eFFe glitching, Snapper Loading, Axle Loading and the like. You can even use it for eFFeing stuff on pistons.

I'd say Joint Third with Urjak would be reasonable. He'd probably kick your bot into next Tuesday anyhow. And AC is probably the second laggiest bot in the game. After you-know-who.

108 HPZ's is serious overkill. You'd have trouble running that on Deep Blue. And what you want to do is fire the SnapperII, then press the Pause/Break button while it's still extended. The audio will stop, and the game will freeze, but you can still move around and attach components. Not entirely sure what the highest resolution bot skin you could have is. I think it would need to go up in powers of two, so maybe try 1024x1024 next.
