This is possibly my worst tournament. Ever.
Been a bit of a mixed bag for me, so far. Good in the fact that I've won at least one match with both my robots (and got a good draw against The Ounce), but bad in the fact that I lost to oversized hinge wedges that probably wouldn't be practical IRL.
Yeah, that must stung a bit. Still game on the challenge? And why didn't you enter it this time? =P
But noone has found my deliberate mistake
Rather- just the fact that I couldn't fight NFX because of it that made it quite annoying, really. But say, if Freezie is doing any grudge matches, I'll take you both on

Wow, I beat DSC? I was sure he was going to beat me! That front wedge on Pyromancer was far more resistant than I thought it would be. Good match though, mate So I've got The Ounce, next? He's hardy, but has no wedge. If I can keep him trapped whilst I blast away at him, I could be in with a chance.

I lol'd at my Semi-Final match. It was like "OHNOEZS. *shredded* Owait. *hop* trololol. *KO* Hope that gave you some satisfaction, GF93. =P
Suppose there is that- although, I really had wanted to fight you. Always something to throw a spanner in the works every time there's an opportunity for a battle between us

Bleh. Knew right from looking at the picture that I'd lost, and to such an amateurish IRL design, too. This is why I think massive hinge-wedges shouldn't be allowed, at surely least not in that size. I do at least commend Massimo for beating me, though. In all honesty however, nothing against Massimo himself, but I hope Metal Shredder goes out in the next round.

So Metal Shredder is next...considering how strong my armour and front end are, I might be able to flip and shove him around enough to take the decision, or better still, immobilise him on the arena wall. His wedges look quite dodgy, so I might be able to do it, provided I avoid the drum.

All right! Looks like I managed to pull it off- that ramming capability's surprisingly good at flipping hinge wedges over Good match though, SKBT

I'll scout around for Wham.

Re-using old threads is boss.
I just saw mention of a Roaming Robots AI Pack.
Is this real? It sounds really good and I want to get my hands on it =P
Yeah- Whamettnuht released it.
Is there a DL link somewhere? It's not in the RA2 AI Packs download area on the front screen.
Is it worth download and playing? What is the quality of the replicas like?
I think Wham has the link in his sig. And the reps are good- here are a few examples of them fighting an old rep of mine...

But yes, I have noticed that- usually as a result of me dominating the second-round melees, and then getting cherry-tapped from behind by some lucky pretender who doesn't deserve it right at the end of the fight. I'm sorry, but I dominated that match more than you did. And oh, I WON.
Fixed the quotes for you From watching the match again, I took on everyone- played a key role in helping you immobilise Gemini, tossed you all over (with you mainly getting hits in from landing on me after being flipped), and this is key, getting Badnik out of the arena. And even still, that's not good Sportsmanship from you there, either

Just to jump into this great conversation, but GF.
After my challenge is finished, how about I say my Tree Frog goes against your WarBastard? That would be fun
Worth a thought, I suppose

You've got the Mechavore disc, which is pretty good (360, anyone?)
Or War Bastard- that took Third Place in the MW Division last time around
Damn you, 360 only manages fourth. It's wierd how we always go at each other's throats before the tournament starts, and yet we have never once fought each other outside of the Home Nations tournament. This might be a good chance for us to, in the HW bracket. =)
Finally, something in which I outperform you But yes, I have noticed that- usually as a result of me dominating the second-round melees, and then getting cherry-tapped from behind by some lucky pretender who doesn't deserve it right at the end of the fight. Call me bitter, but that's what usually happens in Replica Wars, at least. Although at some point maybe another Home Nations series might be good (Even better now that we have a Northern Irish competitor, too)- I think it's a good idea. And then there's here, too- that should be a great opportunity for a quick scrap. In fact, they do very much remind me of our Home Nations entries- right down to me having a 6WD Rammer and you having a new version of the Highlander

I'd rather lose in the first round and win a best looking bot award
Same here. Though there's no harm in going for both. =P
^Now that's the spirit.^
Shame on you for using hinge wedges yourself though, mate =P
