Remember that poll I had in my signature? Let's pretend that didn't exist. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] This tournament will be using a totally impractical and incomplete patch whose entire existence is for entertainment.
DSL 2.2 IRL, LW, MW, and HW. 16 entrants per weight class. I can deny you for any reason. Whether it be your robot it OP, it has an illegal weapon support, or your name starts with an E. You may only enter 1 robot per weight class, however you don't need to enter each one. Naturally, colored components are allowed, however, you might want to note that I don't own all of them. CF, BFE, OBJ2RA2, and all that jazz are allowed and honestly preferred over extenderbots. Cheatbot2 components include the Overkill motor and razer motor. The patch makes the flatmotor legal because I didn't buff it. Swiss army and multibots bots allowed Manual countdowns will be enforced on robots that cannot actively pursue the opponent. Judging will be dealt with on a 45 point system with 15 points on Control , Aggression (Which will be defined as active pursuit of the opponent), and Damage (Which will be defined by the ingame points system put into a ratio). If a match is plagued with havok explosions or is dull, it will be reduced to a highlight match (Similarly to Destruction Evolution).
Oh boy... The 16 robots will be place in four groups based on how much I like you its performance in testing. The tl;dr version of your goal is you want to be in the top 2 groups. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] You'll start off by fighting one person in your group. I'll rig it so you don't fight the same person twice, but RNG can still be a dick to you. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] The winner of the match will go on to fight the loser of the group just above it. In the case for the top group. It's a cannon fodder match with absolutely no meaning. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] The winner of the matches (that don't include the winner on the top group) will take the place in the above group and the loser will move down into the group below. This whole process will take place twice, giving just enough time for you to move a maximum of 2 groups. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] After 2 rounds of this have taken place, the robots in the third group and 2 robots with poor records in the second group will enter a bracket for the last 2 positions. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] The final positions of the bracket will show you your final seeding for the main event. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] A final single elimination bracket to decide the winner of the tournament.
Probably just gonna reskin the Robogames arena. HW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] MW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] LW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

We've hit 8 Likes, and I've gotten no crazy outcries yet. Onward to sign-ups.

Question: How many configurations are allowed on a swiss army bot?
Every time I see this question I get scarred. I'll go with 6.

Don't suppose you could give us a rundown of how much each motor gets buffed by the patch?
To start: it wasn't just motors that got buffed. HP to smaller weapons and Burst Pistons also fell to my wrath. To end: Even I don't know what I did.
So basically it's just regular 2.2 but everything has gone to crack
I guess you can describe it that way.

That looks rather good. I'd personally prefer if the front armor panels were wider so it would protect the entire front. Also, Titanium 5 > Plastic 10

Second place isn't terrible I guess. I expected good things from Alpha and it served well. Good tournament overall.

Is there even a contest here?

Those colsons on the side of the drum look awesome. The robot itself is extremely boxy however. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to add some sort of decoration or wheel guard to the sides of the robot to make it not look so flat.
Definitely a step up though.

Not a saw, lacks any sort of skeletal structure. Sure, that name makes sense.
The robot looks tall and the random piece of armor in the center of the top of the robot looks unnecessary. Looks practical though. Practicality is what everyone loves in IRL.

I feel like I shouldn't have won that match against Gangplank.

First thing, Titanium 5 > Plastic 10. Always. Second thing, the bot looks rather tall, (I can't quite tell from the angle of the photos). Tall is usually never a good thing. Third thing, you have a lot of empty space in the robot. Either shrink the circle or don't use it at all.

May as well not even enter BOTM with this thing lurking.

It's always weird hearing music with and without headphones. The hotwheels song is completely different. Oh, yeah, there's a tournament...
I'm slightly concerned how Alpha and Repulse somehow both got 4 points in control, but my guess is you just couldn't bother rewatching that sh**show and I don't blame you. Other than my own, there were some really good matches here.
My next match is against the one robot that I think outwedges me. If I win, it's gonna be because Royalty is gonna fall on its face from its high center of mass.

I don't think I've payed enough attention throughout the year to vote in this to be honest.
