When I extract dsl 1.0 version it is right under the dsl folder where you temporaly extract it. Or use your eyes or use search and type that in when you have extracted the 1.0 dsl version.

So, you can control it by firing the pistons? Interesting. Reminds me a little of these grasshopper bots that used pistons to fly that ExileLord posted on the official forums way back.
Do you want to have this? Or does someone else want to have this robot? I can upload this to robot exchange if someone wants to try this robot out. :D

Well now you are seriously out of luck because if you can't find 1.20 version of that downloadable version you can't patch your game.
And the "DownloadVersionPatch.bat" is located under the dsl temp folder where you temporaly extract your files.

When we are playing all vs. all I have serious lag pings and I'm not so bad challenger but if I wouldn't have those I wouldn't be any nooby challenger at all.
And do you remember our latest 1 vs. 1 match? :wink: :twisted: :lol:
You just got beaten up quite badly. Of course I took punch too but I ruled the overall situtation.

Have you already tried my advice? Because if anything that should work. Or even that doesn't work then you must have corrupted copy on the cd.
Or do you have downloaded version? Then you need to run that bat for downloaded version what is found at dsl's folder.
And to check have you patched your game to 1.20v go to credits and see the right upper corner to see if there reads 1.20. If not try to insert your cd in the drive and reapply the patch.

Of course you could try to right click components folder under Robot Arena 2 folder and then go to properties and then uncheck read-only box if it is checked and then extract DSL mod to different folder and then copy the components folder from dsl extraction folder to Robot Arena 2 folder and when it asks: "Do you want to overwrite this folder by this." Click yes and run the game now. That might help or not but... Give it a shot.

It's a very nice replica. There's one little thing though. The paint job is a tiny bit blurry and low qualityish. The bar looks awesome! Well You can't help that because the game makes the paint job blurrier. But very nice thing indeed.

Well actually if I remember right I never said that would be a walker. I just named it because of Walk Smash Walk flash what is found at http://www.starterupsteve.com and on funny stuff or on funny flash site. I just had to name it to WALK smash WALK because I wanted to add that smash word there because it literally smashes smallest robots under it and I didn't fiqure out any better name than that.

You didn't win me by many points. Plus there were lag what was around 200ms so it is around 0,2 second lag here. And I think during the battle it grows even more so let's say it was like 0,5 second delay here.
So... I would like to take new match twice if the ping would be max 100.

I can give you instructions how to make anti-ballast on your own when I get home.
Okay.
Go under your components folder and find text file called ballast1.txt. Now copy it and paste it in and then rename it for example anti-ballast1.txt.
Now open the file and then replace Ballast with Anti-Ballast in that name section.
Now make one new line under all those text and type this in. mass = -1000
Now when you add this anti-ballast in your robot it is 1000 kilos lighter so now you can build super heavy robots. When you have finished the building remove the ant-ballast and test your robot. Otherwise it will just fly out of the terrain because that is so powerful anti-ballast.
You can make also lighter anti-ballasts by replacing that -1000 value by for example by -500.

Because those are more for those who have errors with the game. :lol:
Just uninstall whole game. Install it again. Patch it to 1.20V. Extract dsl-tc mod to its own folder. Then go under infogrames folder and right click robot arena 2 folder and then take properties and uncheck read-only box.
Now copy and paste everything under that dsl-tc folder to robot arena 2 folder and then replace all what it asks.
Now it should work and also you can delete components.cfz file if you want as ACAMS said.

Yeah what is AAM? I have heard meantions of that many times but no one hasn't never told me what it actually is.
So what is AAM?
