Oh, I know, but sometimes really weird stuff happens in the BBEANS arena (it happened to me, and Pita 8). Thanks for the skinning BTW :)

Needs moar ramplates.

Nah joking inf, looks nice. How are the wedges? I'll bet that those 4 ramplates give them quite some downpushing force. Have you tried them against Insectoid (or iNCineration 4)?, I found that it has way better wedges then NWB (at least in the BBEANS arena).

Otherwise, nice looking bot, needs no more razors. Even if you don't get a OHKO, if something's lifted, it's lifted and it won't (shouldn't) come down.

Whoops, almost forgot about this.

NC's bot is accepted and AI'd, match will be up by the end of today.

Any news?

The best resource to help you AIing, is probably the AI chart, which you can download here:

Thanks.

@infiniteineratia: I guess that means we're friends now  :p

Freeziez, if you didn't accept my past entry, mind if I send in a new one. It's the same bot, just a new version. If not then just use the old one.

OK here you go:

http://nclabs.org/downloads/iNCineration4.bot

Also, kinda offtopic, I'd like to AI this bot, where should I start?

I'll send you the bot soon, after I'm done tweaking the wedges. You can try it yourself then and possibly make a skin :)

Also, the bot is very good at winning wedge battles. Know the situation where you and the other bot are stuck in each others gap up front? Well, in that situation my bot always flips the other bot with it's VS.

Ah OK :) And what about making the back plow higher?

Whats the weight of Le Finished Project?

793.2, still a bit underweight.

@Infinite, I'm not sure if you looked at my best bot so far, on page 4 (just wondering): https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,6980.msg365086.html#msg365086

Also, despite I'm not speaking native English, I'm not that bad either (IMO).

Also, I had the idea since I still have the weight to put one extender more on the back plow so it's a tad higher. Comments?

Yes 40cm more (should be around 100cm total, yes) and a little steeper. Tweak it a little bit every time and put it up against the most-wedgiest bots in Starcore (RPB, NWB to name a few). You can gauge from going against them what works best. It seems wrong I know, but they do in fact need to be steeper.

If you like the plows the way you have now, then that's all that matters! It's functional, and it's you. You are an example my friend. Very nicely done.

Thanks, two questions and one remark:

1. "RPB, NWB": ??? and Neglected Waterbug?

2. "You are an example my friend." What do you mean with that? I'm sorry, english is not my mother tongue and this expression is unclear to me.

3. If the wedges are too steep the opposing bot (should) get lifted, that's ok. The problem might be then that their front hits the underside of my plows. I'll have to test it though.

Pretty much ever bot I posted in my showcase has been labeled "(somewhat) original" or "never seen it like that".

Maybe we should stare less at pictures from old bots and just create stuff?

I changed the plows a little in front so it's a bit wider now, because before bots hit the undersides of the plows even if they got lifted. This is how it looks now:

You mean 60+40=100cm? Ok. How steep should they be, because they kinda suck ATM:

Thanks  :heart_smiley:

Talkin' bout symmetrical stacking:

Ahem, chassis space is near 5% or so.

Ok, the wedges are better now, still mediocre though. The snowplates no longer touch the ground using an extender. The HP-Zteks are no longer tilded and symmetric. The plow in the back was useless before, I hope the current placing is better. Something must be placed there or the HP-Zteks become too unstable.

EDIT: Oh did I say it is 23.8kg underweight?
