Could someone give me tips on mineshafts?
Well there are many methods of mining but i'll tell you my favorite Branch Mining In short, you dig a stairway to the center of the earth bedrock layer, find the topmost bedrock layer, go one layer above that and make that your floor. dig a small, about 3x3 room down there to store stuff like workbenches, minecarts etc, then start mining! dig out from one side 10 blocks, digging up any ore you find in the walls and floor and celing, then dig 10 blocks to the sides. then dig 10 more blocks on from your original tunnel, adding another 2 branches every 10 blocks like so (not to scale) X X X X X X X X XXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX X X XXX X X X X X X there are other methods out there, but i prefer this one and so use it all the time

In other news, i want to make a high speed rail network between by bases
i know exactly how im going to do all the redstone wiring and track laying in my stations, i just need to figure out a nice design for my main one that links all of them together
im probably going to put the cart dispenser in the middle in a glass tube, but does anyone have any suggestions for how i could arrange the rest of the station?
