Maybe because as well as being headache inducing, they weren't that good? Every game on the Virtual Boy either had a better console port or a more acceptable equivalent.
I've played a few of the Virtual Boy games, and they were all pretty good. Wario Land was phenomenal, Mario Clash was an interesting take on the classic Mario formula, and Mario Tennis was the first of the series!

There are a lot of Mario games, but 3D Land is probably one of the best. Hell, I like it more than Mario 64.
And Luigi's Mansion, it's like what the Ghost Busters game should have been.

I can see Sony winning this time out, they've just got a basic advantage at the moment. I suspect the Wii U will not fare as well as the One, but people will probably like it better considering the idiocy going on with this XBox.
I don't know. The PS4 controller is ridiculous, and out of Microsoft's 15 exclusives, some of them have to be good.

I ordered a 3DS game now. Fire Emblem: Awaking. For me this is the first 3DS game that's actually worth getting that CAN be played on a EU 3DS. All other 3DS games available ATM didn't pull my attention in even the slightest way.
Two other titles I'm looking forward to is Bravely Default and Pokemon X/Y (me getting Y version).
Not even Mario 3D Land and Luigi's Mansion? Both of those are some of the best games I've played.

Because 720ยบ is meaningless. Microsoft names its consoles based on their concept, not as sequels. The 360 was a "revolution." The "One" is an all-in-one entertainment machine. Get it?

Word on the street is that most of the game announcements will be saved for E3 and that today's event will be focussed on hardware. What I'm expecting: MOAR GIGABYTES MOAR POLYGONS Kinect 2 New Xbox controller with similar form factor A cheap, subscription-based model A heavy focus on downloads rather than physical media (though it will likely still boast some form of Bluray drive) MOAR Smartglass integration They need to bring out consoles more often. it's pretty sweet that the new consoles supposedly have top-of-the-line specs, but eventually they'll become bad enough to slow down PC game development if you want to go cross-platform. New consoles have been long overdue, I just wish Nintendo didn't underpower their console yet again this gen.
What's interesting is that the only thing really lacking in the WiiU hardware is the processor. The RAM is great, and the video card is no slouch. I think part of the problem is that Nintendo stuck with the same Power PC architecture (based on the old G3 chip) and were faced with the limitations. This allowed for easy Wii backwards compatibility, but causes some problems now that Sony, Microsoft, and the entire PC industry use the x86 platform.

Well that, and as soon as DSL3's replicas are released I'll resume making a new BB AI pack that isn't as failtastic and no indestructable Warhead or whatever.
As soon as somebody unlocked the BB AI parts, we were able to destroy Warhead with ease.

I've been out since May 3rd. Since I decided not to work this summer, I have tons of free time 'til August.
Colleges always get out before highschool though.
Most of the quarter-based universities go until sometime in June.

In America. They have yet to release the EU version due to some problems that, as far as I know, have yet to be disclosed, but whatever they are, Scribblenauts Unlimited is not out on either the 3DS or WiiU over here.
Oh, weird. Must be a licensing issue.

Is anybody else going to get Animal Crossing next month? If so, we will need to add each other.
I've been questioning getting it after loyally buying the first 3 versions. There were some features of the Gamecube version that I wasn't happy they took out. What are the improvements going to be?
In this game, you're the mayor. Other than that, you can swim, you have a real body that can be customized a bit more, you have a lot more housing options, and Tom Nook has become a full-time real estate salesman (his kids run the shop).
