Unrealistic, change DSL axles to door hinge wedges. Use bsg's instead of JX's, make the chassis longer/smaller.

Cross Country runner here! Been to states, that's about it really. Never been to Feds, always wished I had though. Now I just run as many 5k's as possible. Best 5k- 17.23

Top 5 (No order)Thyrus - Realism at it's finest.
Urjak - Sheck Spinner Virtuoso
123STW - All around DSL Virtuoso

Didn't vote for (Other 2 in my top 5)
Naryar - Great AI and all around building skill (Loophole master/MOAR RAZORS) (Seems to focus on Vigilante moderation than actually building)
The Ounce - Revision always gets you somewhere as perfectly demonstrated, not as active.

My top 5 are...
Click
Geice
Scrap
Pwnator
R0B0

I unfortunately had to boot R0B0 because he isn't as active as he was before, and Pwnator because I feel he is a better DSL builder.
Mad props to Geice though, right out of the gate he built awesome robots and won his first tournament. (Best Newcomer 2011 (tied with Nightcracker) )

Um when I try to put my wheels on the motors that are connected to the skirt hinges, it won't let me put them on. And I can't resize my chassis so that both multi-extenders are positioned so that the 120 cm skirt hinges don't intersect with the chassis. It's hard to explain without visually showing you. Please help!!!

@Craaig: The only reason I chose the fragile model was to get the 3rd weapon on it. I think I like yours better though since it's more durable. Hmmm...
You need to snapper load the wheels on.

Maybe for the Crank-gimmick, place a set of axle-wheels on one of the ends.
So it will (hopefully) lean that way when the battle starts and be in position, as well as have a level base in which it could fire.
......
I dunno, it's just an idea.
It was, is, and always will be random. There is no way to prevent it, thus making this type of robot next to impossible to function correctly.

Well worded, and right to the point as well. I think you should also mention what makes Good Builders, well Good Builders, since now this community now has a nostalgic real life building example that is also taken in sort of high regard as well as aesthetics, proof of concepts, and complete weapon spam.

Attempted to make something with 'jaws', right?

Maybe try ice-picks O,o
No, System is attempting to replicate a high paced crank shaft/piston style weaponry.
Like this....

The problem is... Unlike servos, RA2 renders motors not in the original axle position in which it was placed (Probably due to Infogrames rushing to get RA2 out to market) So since the "crank shaft" essentially "spins" while loading, it will mess up the collision mesh making this form of weaponry unusable and highly glitchy.

Is it possible tracks just have more grip, so it goes, you know... faster? :)
Probably, but my theory is that the tread's are made up of small invisible wheels, more wheels with same output = more speed (also grip may have something to do with it)

The extra speed probably just has to do with the axle glitching and not so much with tread.
Probably, but in my tests the original Tofu didn't come close to Trax in "speed" (me just gazing at my monitor to compare)

LOL that's what you get for using flails on motors.
You may be laughing, but I found a loop hole  :p

Well if this is going to be a serious bot, then you really do need the door hinges.

Yeah, but they AGOD'd to heck. These are better.
Well, you might have to rebuild it to make it work. Make sure you put the doorhinges in FIRST before doing anything else.

DP, if a high speed Jailbroken Tank Tread SnS is what you want. Then unfortunately the side attachment points all AGOD if an object (weapon) is attached to them. You are going to have to work you way around making baseplate mounted weapons to achieve stability :FFFUUU
EDIT: I have just tried a version with 3 NPC Fasts and the results were very depressing, something's fishy. Off to more research and development.
EDIT2: It seems that the "Tofu-ed" Weapon is locked when the Treads are stableized, I maybe able to make a Flail SnS without any other unnecessary Baseplate anchors. Time to find out.

lawl that's what you get for not using locking motors. :P

Not really sure how 4 treads equates to 'faster', though.
Again, neither do I but I swear, try it yourself and you'll see the power of the Jailbroken Tank Tread Glitchtm

I don't think its for bof guys...

and its very welll built fotepx, although the corners are somewhat exposed.
If you see the earlier reiterations, you'd know he was planning something extremely similar to it for BoF.
