Nice! I like it!
With the batteries. You can get away with one ant battery (the small orange ones) per spin motor in a bot. That usually works just fine and you can ignore all those big clunky ones. :D

I have Powerstone 2 (wicked fun) Sonic Adventures (kinda bleh) and Soul Calibur (epic!)
Don't have KISS though... will have to see if there still is an active download for it somewhere.

The first rule is:
"Have fun"
Everything else comes second.

Their other "before it's time" system was the Dreamcast. It was the Xbox 360 of it's time. It ran Windows CE and had the ability to play online. It would have been great if the internet technology had been better at the time. Dial-up was the Dreamcast's coffin... The lack of games for it was the final nail in said coffin.
Fishing with the Dreamcast is so much fun. <3

Wish I had time to build stuff, this BOTM was my calling, but June is the busiest month of the year for both of my jobs. q.q

I lol-ed. Kinda wish the crewguy got taken for an extended ride back up the landing hump and beyond. He would have scored poorly, but it still would have been fun.

I played it for a few months. Hooking up my Logitech Momo wheel everytime was kinda a pain. After a while I found that you really have to put a lot of hours into the game to get the hang of the controls and track feedback. I just don't have enough time to really enjoy it to the fullest. So, I let my account expire.
Best racing sim I have ever played though. Amazing.

We almost got a good Halo movie. It was supposed to be directed by Peter Jackson, but 20th Century Fox cancelled the project for some reason.
If I remember correctly... It was more that Microsoft and PJ were having conflicts about how the movie should be. Ultimately, Microsoft wasn't pleased with the direction of how things were going. They actually made some vehicles for the movie before it got cancelled. Very cool.

Even though this has been suggested I just want to clarify...
did you lower the resolution for both Windows and RA2? I had massive lag in Fraps until I lowered the resolution for the Windows Operating system first (Go into control panels, change the screen resolution to something tame like 800x600)
After you do that open up RA2 and then go into the screen resolution settings and set that to match Windows (800x600)
The game will probably run in "windowed" mode, which is not full screen... but Fraps won't care really. Try recording with those settings.
From there, adjust the FPS rate in Fraps to suit depending on what quality you want.

You have a point, and I agree but surely the splash could be updated by either the winner or someone else willing to do it?
It kinda defeats the purpose of having a contest if the final product is different from what people voted upon... The key is that some people need to realize that they fail at splashes (or bots) and work with a buddy before submitting the entry for BOTM.
