This goes for anyone...try to find a popup with 2/3 blacks that performs as consistently and lethally as one with 4. It's Pysc's rule of four...Two DDT's (weapons)+ 4 HP Drive = 4 Blacks. 323

First advice, dont listen to the bumbling idiot above me.
For the chained one, defeintely get rid of the snapper and use a baseplate. Then work with the chassis shape. Making it wider/pointier somewhere for stability would be a good idea for fixing the tippiness. The second one is just meh... 326

...That's because Snapper2's are actually the best, NOT DDTs (we need to make this official people)... But your wedges are set way too far beneath the chassis as is. A shallower angle will give you better results. I like it. Now skin it, and make it look good. 329

Face the blades the other way, and do something with them. Having them be absolutely vertical will not do much trapping.
Oh, they are any more HS bait than snowplows or brackets in the same place madman? Oh right, thought so (; 330

Yeah I've tried a many VSes with formats like that, always have had wobble issues. The wedged front could be utilized to help it...MW VSes are difficult, no matter what.

It's original. Screw the armor...
Idk how it does with those long wedges ( too long for a popup IMO ).... But extra rebuilding would have to occur to fix that. Nice overall, potential OHKO machine...? ( hehe get it? I understood it's name...) 332

There's no way you can do that any other way than use snappers...

Miles...no...LEAGUES better than the original. Probably your best to date.
Nary is right with the casters....you should work on doing a better job of spacing them out, and probably use one less on each side. When I use casters...I place them 2,4,6,8,and 9 notches up (I think). Some sort of pattern like that. There should be at least 2 notches raised between each caster layer. Removing a caster on each side allows you to at least substitute 4 of those outer razors for irons. This one is more of a personal preference. You should try substituting those top trapping plows for something else. As Nightcracker recently mentioned, snowplows really don't do a great job of "trapping". Samurai Swords, or Bracket wedges, might be better options. 336

It would be a good idea to at least try it in DSL. This could potentially be a very effective weapon system that functions alot like the "jugglers" we already have. But what could we call these types of bots?
Underside rapers? That's the best I got... If you are going to try again in stock, you should try building a U-shaped popup-like chassis and replace the firing weapon with your weapon system........or maybe I should just go try it out myself.... 337
